Yup, +Dodge food isnt actually a Dodge mod, its a defense mod.

What is the point of running a CoB macro if you are already maxed out at dodge?


Does CoB actually bring us above the cap?

Well, I did read about this one. For the same reasons pikatta pieand air cake apparently do not affect your dodge modifier but instead affect your melee defense modifiers (the straight chance that the attack will miss you completely), CoB increases your chances that the attack will miss you completely vs. dodge which causes you to "evade" attacks. So, CoB does not bring us above the cap, but it definitely makes us harder to hit.


Please correct me if I'm wrong - I seem to not have the grasp on how these things work that I thought I did.
