if you dont like dots get doc and stop cryiny i dont loose to a dot... and you can get good weapons i have a 368 stun bat unpup adn a mindfire knife. take dodge food and get some doc to heal states....and dots and put your tissues away it is time to stop crying -- dots are in the game learn to deal with them

i bet you think a 300 dot is uber right?

have mind buffs and take 3 canapes and 2 brandies you wont die cause of the dot i promise and learn tactics -- if you have medic and get hit with a d ot -- use the jedi tactic and back away from the fight pull off your armor take off all your armor but your helmet(only unhealable stat) and food up-- dot wont hurt as bad and get your but back in there and fight

anyone on sunrunner thinks dots are so horrible bring any dot weapon you like and fight me with just that i will beat you--- is the stacking of multiple dots that get you or that you are unprepared and do not knowhow to deal with dots

I'd like to offer a few points.

1. The dodge cap is a good thing, but it could be a little higher. Fencer IS about defense, but they should't be completely untouchable.

2. TKM does not "suck". Despite having limited damage types (soon to be fixed in the CU), it is one of the few combat professions in the game that you can master and not need anything else to be good.

3. You dont need to get rid of all DOT's, just the UBER 500-1000+ strenght ones that kill you in 1-2 ticks. The power of a character should lie solely in his/her template, not in the UBERness of thier DOTS. Example: A master brawler should not be able to PWN a master of 1-2 elite melee professions because of his 1000 strenght mind poison pike.

4. This game does not suck. If so, then why are you waisting your time on its MESSAGE BOARDS.

since when??? one of the best PvP prof's is TKM/ Master fencer/ 0040 pistol rest medic.

I agree, we do nto want to hear you whine about your profession in our own home turf. and the crazy part is? you say TKM is the best pvp prof but you put master fencer in both of your best templates. however as you can see, 3/4 of the people posting here disagree with the original poster making your post completely and utterly a waste of finger juice. which technically is making MY post completely and utterly a waste of finger juice. which just goes to prove the point that.....

Some of the best dots past pikeman are on gaffi sticks. Use stun hits (which is the only tool of a swordsman by the way) to drop whatever his dodge is.. down by 40%. use intimi to take another 10-15% off of that and their hard defences.. blind him.. and a swordsman is ONLY that dot.

I use dots that are sick.. sure I have that 200 mind poison gaffi.. but it is not as valuable as my strength disease vibro-blade.

Sure I got a 300 tick action poison.. but it aint as bad as my focus disease curved sword.

Those secondary stat dots have only really been found on fencer weapons..
