I like how u think...Duel weilded that would be so cool..now only if they could make duel weiled sabers then i would be happy

dual wielding smaller weapons, knives as an example, or dual wielding a one-handed sword and a smaller one-handed sword or knife as an off weapon with an accuracy penalty. I'd think the skills would be somewhat like this:
Prerequisites: Unarmed IV/One-handed IV and Master Scout
I choose those because a hybrid profession such as this would be based off of stealth/small weaponry.
The Master Scout requirement would give us the necesary Terrain Negotiation/Traps/Survival skills.. not sure about hunting though, and One-handed IV/Unarmed IV is a given as a prerequisite.
The first skill tree could be based off of defensive techniques, such skills involved in this tree would be Advanced Traps usable on Humanoid Species and Ranged/Melee Defense skill mods.
A second skill tree could be the aforementioned Meditation line like in TKA.
Third skill tree could be the weapon specialty, giving speed to a specific weapon, or a dual wielding skill line.
The fourth skill tree would go off combat Exp like so many others, this would be on accuracy for dual wielding, and the first and third boxes would have the "Throw Weapon" ability, and the other two boxes with accuracy mods. The throw weapon ability would be like the pistol whip like attack from the pistoleer tree, except you'd have to have like.. a crate of daggers/throwing stars/throwing knives to use.. or.. the devs could make bracers that are only available through a tough quest, the bracers would have storage for five throwable weapons each and each time you use the throw weapon ability it would remove one from the bracer..
Just my silly little ideas...
Oh, and I'd personally like to call this an "Assassin" profession!

Hereare my thoughts of it, somewhat based off of Ixata's 
lets just call the profession Ninja for the mean time
Prerequisites: Unarmed 4, 1 handed 4, and Trapping 4.
For novice, you would need combat XP.
at novice this would give the ability to dual wield weapons.
Skill Tree:
x/0/0/0 is acrobatics, this would provide dodge, melee defense, ranged defense, and mitigation. This would require 1 handed XP to get. Title earned would be Acrobat.
0/x/0/0isfighting style, this would provideextracenter ofbeing and would have3 attacks through out the line. The attacks I were thinking would be (these are ideas for names) Blast Kick, this would do a high damage attack with your foot to the enemy's body pool, and have a chance to knockdown the opponent(unarmed or 1 handed, its only with your foot). Multi-Hit, which would be like the scatter hit or unarmed combo (1 hand). and Fury of blows, a area action/dizzy hit (1 hand). You would need unarmed xp to do this row. Title earned would be Expert Ninja.
0/0/x/0 is thrown weapons, you would get like throwing knifes, quick throwing weapons which are somewhat like grenades (except not to a area). You would need trapping XP to do this row. Title earned would be Hidden Dagger.
0/0/0/x is dual wielding, this would allow you to use 1 hand weapons. At novice ninja you get -50 accuracy and -25 speed for dual wielding, at x/x/x/1, you would get only get-40 accuracy, and -20 speed, accuracy would keep going up by 10, and speed going up by 5 untill you hit master and you get no penalty for dual wielding. at x/x/x/3 dual wielding, you would get the ability to use specials while dual wielding. Title earned would be Whirlwind.

This shouldn't be a dabble profession, something like all or nothing. Well, there's my thoughts

Wee, great ideas.. and.. and.. for the poison dart.. would we shoot it out with a dart tube thingie where we blow in the tube and it shoots out? Or would we go James bond style with the wrist shooter? Or Jango Fett/Mandalorian style with wrist gauntlets especially for that? xD

A katana is a short fast 1 handed sword w/ a curved blade umm sorta sound like something in this game.... Oh yeah the curved sword

and ninja is in UO now besides ninja is sorta stupid to have in a futuristic sci-fi game

And I dont give a s#$t if ninja's use katanas, or if katana is a 1 hand or 2 hand weapon, ninja is just a idea for a name, knowing the devs if they would make this profession they would call it something like (insert name that has almost nothing to do with the profession, example: fencer

Mostly ninjas were users of stealth and leathal accuracy. To those of you that have played either of the knights of teh old republic why not incorperate teh scoundrals sneek attack in to this hybrid profession. It could require you to be the first to attack and do large amounts of damage but could only be used once against an opponet. Or a special that could hit in between plates of armor. This could have a low chance of success but do much damage.
As for duel wield, the off hand could have a disposable knife that could be thrown at an enemy and easily recovered or replaced later. With the new loot system the owner of the knife would get it back automatically when the npc is looted or if the player he or she was fighting is killed in that battle. Things like poison darts and shurikens they could come in packs like grenades, and be used by any1 but most effecive when we would use them.
The hybrid attacks could be focused on distracting the opponet with you weapon then hiting them with a kick to the head, or punching and stabing at the same time. As for armor what about a special corotosis weave that has lightsaber resist. This would reduce Jedi fighting capablity and we could focus on removing jedi while there distracted.
