When will the Vote end? I started doing this "mission" last nite and ended up also doing the curators missions talking to the artists. Then the damn server was up and down about 3 times. Never made it to Wayfar to talk to last artist.

This is off the Starwars.com Databank for Tusken Raiders...

Fearsome desert savages inhabiting the rocky Jundland Wastes, Tusken Raiders are the foremost reason Tatooine colonists do not wander far from their isolated communities. Extremely territorial and xenophobic, Tusken Raiders will attack with very little provocation. They show no allegiance to even their native world-mates, as these nomads have attacked Jawa scouting parties on occasion. They have even gathered numbers large enough to attack the outskirts of smaller towns like Anchorhead.

Covered from head-to-foot in tattered rags and robes, Tusken Raiders -- or Sand People as they are also known -- brandish a deadly bladed club known as a gaderffii. They also carry projectile rifles with which to shoot at passing vehicles. The male of the species tend to be the aggressors. Females can be distinguished by their elaborate jeweled masks with eyeslits and torso-covering sand-shrouds. Tusken children wear unisex cowls and simple cloaks.

For transportation, Sand People have domesticated the hardy bantha -- a longhaired spiral-horned quadruped also found on Tatooine. These nomads purposely travel in single file, to conceal their numbers.

As you see they are called Sand People but Tusken Raiders for attacking Fort Tusken as many have said. My guess is the quest is bugged like most of the high level stuff. Wish there was a quest correspondant and no I don't want the job.

Seeing that the gorax or it's bones have nothing to do with "sand people" I would reccommend killing as many high end tuskens as possible. Those are Tusken Observers, Executioners, and Witch Doctors. And continue pounding the Tusken King... he can be found at the bottom of the Tusken Bunker which is less than 2k from the squill cave (POI) where the others often spawn. I posted the guy that will sell you the waypoint to the bunker earlier. I'll find the post and update this again with that info.

You are looking to loot a item named "rare bones" or "rare tusken bones"... I suggest we stay on track... if you guys want to experiment with different types of bones go right ahead but I think you'll be wasting your time as acklay and gorax bones have nothing to do with "sand people".

Here's my post from page 3.. if you haven't before take the time to read some of the prvious posts in this thread... there's alot of usefull information about what people have already tried through the elections and at the various tusken poi's.. now the post:

Erikk Darksider (NPC) in Mos Eisley near the Luck Depot (or whatever that downed ship's name is) will sell you the wp to the Tusken Bunker for like 30 credits. I easily solo'd the place in just a few minutes buffed with no armor. After 3 trips the only loot I got was a tusken robe, a tusken helmet, a blank CA, and a blank AA. The Tusken King dropped nothing all 3 times. Interesting place though.

I have been hitting the king at least twice a day since i started this 'quest' and have yet to loot anything worth mentioning. I also ran a quest that creates a tusken village and the objective is to kill the king, a lot more fun than the bunker as you get serious agro as soon as you walk inside. Being an open camp they are all there waiting for you, banthers included, most entertaining...but alas no bones not that i expected any.

My house has been next to the tusken village for almost a year now, and I have watched people camp this site for hours killing up to 10 kings at a time. Myself and my brother have probably killed the king there at least 200 times, if he dropped the bones it would have been common knowledge a long time ago.

The tusken bunker near bestine has also been camped, this basically started sometime after launch. Sometime in the last 8 months the amount of times that he spawns per day was drastically reduced but I would say he is still killed at least 4x a day on a populated server. Again, if he drops the bones we would have heard about it.

Next, the observer, witch doctor, and executor have been spawning since early summer or so. Again how many of these have we killed? My guild has killed at least 10 of these, I am sure single posters on this thread have killed many more than that. If these dropped the bones we would have seen them by now unless the possibility of them being dropped is less than 1% or something ridiculous like that.

I think either this weapon is not in the game, or there is a trigger to a quest that we have not found. There have been too many tuskens killed of all typesto believe that one of them holds the loot we're looking for.

I agree too, which is why im pissed that swg wont even tell us if this is an operational quest or we are just all being made laughing stock. Minerunner has said what he has been told, so who the hell do we go to to find out if this is an active weapon/quest? The CU is up shortly and if this has been a wild goose chase i shall be heading to my old game.

I dont mind hunting high and low, but i would feel a right idiot if at the end of the day i got told '' sorry, this quest never got off the ground''

So is it down to minerunner to tell us at least if its ingame/ if not where else do we go? I have hunted everything there is in this game now, got all the bagdes i can be bothered to get, grinding FS just for the hell of it, this is the only thing that has any remote chance of playing with my mind, then to find out all my trips to tat to see if sean is in power yet are a waste of time!

Come on SWG, stop messing us around, all we want is a YES mace is in game and loot drops work, or a NO we took you all for a ride.

Well I decide to ask a CSR in the online Chat (ya know the chat room when you start up lauch pad)

this is the short conversation:

The_Referee: I was wondering if a CSR can confirm if the Junti Quest is in Game or not?

Leyta2Die4: abo ?
CSREthanN: Junti quest?

mandrez: sup yall

The_Referee: Oh boy

CSREthanN: I don't recognize anything by that name, but I usually do offline audits and reports. Expand on it, and I'll ask

The_Referee: The Quest for the Junti Mace

omnipotus1980: hey csr, i have a question if you arent terribly busy

CSREthanN: No information on a Junti Mace, checked around the floor.

That was the end of the conversation.

I didn't think the CSR could help, but it was worth a shot.

I'd thought I'd share this info with you
