I'm pretty sure nothing will get done before the CB and that the devs are for the most part aware of our problems so I'll try to give something that doesn't really have to do with the balance.
1) Redundant Specials
Hit3and blind2 both inflict blind, the only differencesare hit3 does more damage and blind2 has a higher chance of blind. That's not much of a difference. Most people don't even use blind2 just because blind seems to stick fine enough using hit3.
A fix for this would be to possible redesign new moves to replace blind1 and blind2 or to even remove the blind effect from hit3. I'm sure no one would want the latter, though...
2) Animations seem to be slower than the attack speed
Since fencer is so fast when you spam specials you end up doing a couple of attacks while the first animation hasn't even ended. This also causes the player to be frozen in place for a couple seconds to complete the animation when the mob or player your attacking dies. An example would be scatterhit2.
I don't know if it's intentional to make it so the person doesn't move until the animation is finished (I guess it makes sense) but it's kinda annoying because those couple of seconds might mean another person getting away or even you not being able to get away. A possible fix could be to make the animation break when you move, so if you want to see the animation you can just stay still and if you want to move asap then you can.
While I'm sure there's more I can't really think of any more that don't have to do with the CB.

Issue: Attack levels of high end mobs
Discussion: In making places like the Corvette and DWB so incredibly hard and the mobs there with such high attack skills, they have made Fencers there useless. We can't kill stuff there, and were not suppossed too. Yet we can't tank either, which is what our job is suppossed to be. Attack skills on the high end mobs need to be seriously revamped.

Regarding the High end mob levels, they should have been created with the combat ballance in mind.
This is why I'm hopefull for the CB, based on our reletive effectivness against Upper end mobs I'm sure we are going to actually get some loveing, ot at least less nerfing than most professions.... pikemen excluded of course.
But a good question might be with regards to this, "Are End Content Encounters such as DWB or the Corvette designed with the combat ballance in mind?"

With regards to animations that is a good point, though it seems that every profession has that issue (Fencers Swordsman and Pikeman more than others given the length of our combat animations) So I'll bring this up with the other Correspondents and get their oppinions as well.
Several Professions are faceing redundancy issues like ours. Most have the same types of suggestions comeing from their playerbase and Correspondents, I'm guessing since those state effects play a large part in combat ballance they will likely be addressed durring the Combat Ballancerather than after. Doesn't make the issue any less valid, just point out that it is likely to be a big part of that publish.

I'd like to get all of your input on the following.
What are some of our priority issues. Any bugs or conserns that theoretically could fixed in the near future. Any animation issues? Skills that aren't seeming to make any difference? NOT things like new weapons or duel wielding or speed cap reduction.
Please use the following format (feel free to include more items than in the example.)
1: <Issue>
<Short Description>
<Possible Solution>

Incidentally I'll keep this stickied till Thursday July 8th, and I'm going to work on consolidating all the stickied threads into one Updated FAQ to get rid of the clutter... unless someone wants to help me out with that. =)

<low pvp damage>
<I for one am sick of 3 hour duels were the winner is determined by whose stuff runs out first>
<Solution: Armor pirecing damage applied to our attacks and not weapons>

issue: state applications
short descr: stun move
possible sol: i am aware of the dizzy and the blind move (unless im not noticeing it in a move somewhere) how about a stun hit. we do use stun batons, if a stun move is not justified then how about letting a stun baton apply a stun state

I completely agree about the attack animations freezing us in place. When I'm doing a scatter hit and my target runs off, they can be anywhere from 30-50 meters away from me by the time I can move again. For a melee class (especially without Master Brawler) that's an incredible limitation.

1. New damage type
Well, every melee profession could use another damage type (except for swordsman
)
Fencers could get a Vibroraiper that does heat damage and Light Armor Pericing
2. Duel Wielding w/ a pistol
Like the player also must have X skill in pistoleer but they may be able to use a pistol in the other hand that would give to a bounus to counter attack for cheap shots while they are blocking a sword or baton
3. A bit more damage for Fencers or a True Targeted Mind Hit, not like scatter hit
I was dueling my friend in the cantina, he is a TKM, so we go outside and duel w/ buffs, first time (w/o armor) he beats me very easily, second time w/ armor, it does on for 10 mins, but eventualy he incaps me with a mind incap, that is even with me using my best stun baton AND him not wearing stun protection armor

LOL! I think you mean vibrorapier. Vibroraiper is pronounced like vibroraper, and I don't think the devs would give us one of those!
<edited cuz I wasn't done and it's also my first time using it!

I know that more professions are having animation and redundancy issues but I think thatif moreprofessions list these as issues the better the chance that the devs will listen. They can't ignore all of us...or can they?
