Hello,
im a novice Fencer and think that we need weapons with armor piercings. whats ur opinion?

I strongly agree. Other professions have up to med armor piercing and all we get is 1 stinkin *knife) (vibroblade) that has light ap, what a rip-off.

definitely count me in with this one.
although, i'm with Rro on the fact that we are far from ineffective in PvE. after reading his posts i feel like i'm less of an oddity for easily taking two sharnaffs or bolle bols at once, or one rancor if i'm lucky. at the current time, i'm actually MORE effective in a fight against most creatures than the bounty hunter in my group. only our commando can outdo me in damage dealt over time. i'm really loving fencer more as i progress and i was crazy about it at novice.
AP would be great, especially on a wicked gaffi.

the 2-handed curved has med armor piercing our one-handed has none...i think we should have light

I really dont understand why we dont have armor piercing. If a sword swonge by a fencer cant get through armor then what can. Also a baton should never have piercing its blut not sharp.

I agree. 1 blade with only light armor piercing isn't too bad. But did they have to make it a friggin butter knife?!

Well, if you take fencers as the "pistoleers of melee" (or pistoleers as the "fencers of ranged"), then you dont' really excpet much in the way of armor-piercing weapons.
However, there are a lot of different damage types of pistols available, and there just isn't for any melee weapon.
If the curved sword was made AP1 with the rest of the stats identical, it would probably be overpowered, especially at low levels.

Well if we were like the pistolneer of melle I would like to see a sword with 300 damage because they may not have the peircing but they sure do have more damage and with faster speeds.

i have a curved sword with 98/198 stats with 2.3 speed make that light ap and i smile

Whats the ap on the rantok? if its light lets try to get it craftable all other classes have nice wepons but we get **edit**ty ones even if we are the pistoleers of melle we should do more dmg if u compare the classes of ranged and melle the melle always dose more dmg cept in the fencer pistoleer catagory and kded targets dont count
