I'm leveling fencer quickly and the creatures I've been using a lot are:

Tatooine:
Mountain Worrts - 1600xp per kill, slow route but with no DB and they don't aggro, its good for just starting out
Bobcatts - 2200xp per kill, a bit harder than the mountain worrts, no DB, they do aggro.
Grizzled Dewbacks - 2100xp per kill, easier than bobcatts
Bull Ronto - 1900xp per kill, easier than grizzled dewbacks
Tuskans - these things vary, I tend to work my way into the caves and as they respawn just go back and forth. I tend to get a chief mixed with some lower level, so i get like 500xp for the lower level and 4500 for the chief. The bonus is that so far the 2 best gaffi sticks i've had were looted from chiefs.

Talus:
Mutated Kahmurra - I found tons of these in the northern mountains, they give 2500xp each, are real easy to kill, no DB and if you mask scent, you can knock them out one at a time...

Dantooine:
Huurton Howlers - These are the best thing I've found anywhere. 3500xp each, they do DB, mask scent works sometimes since they tend to flank the lair and be far enough apart when you reach it to take them out one at a time. bleed, blind, dizzy and a couple body shots and they're gone. These missions seem strange to me cause the huurton matron mission has a higher payout, but they don't give as much xp per kill as the howlers.
Huurton Huntress - These are better than the Howlers, but at 3/4/2/3 I can't take them on in groups all the time. I just hit 4/4/2/3 and will be trying them again next trip to dantooine.

Endor:
Bloodstained Mereks - 4800 xp per kill, these guys are nasty but worth it. With some stim-b's I can take the lairs with a rest in between hitting the lair. I don't have 100% luck, in that I do end up back at the clone throne sometimes, but if I pull a pet out (I prefer not to fight with pets out) I never get DB'd.

Faction Missions:
Faction missions are also a great source of XP, for Rebels I suggest the rebel outpost on Rori, the missions are usually 500 meters from the terminal. I'm not sure about Imperial missions, but I heard that the ones from the Imperial base on Talus are close by like on Rori.

These are the things I've used to level, I'd like to see what others have used as well. There are a couple beasts on Yavin, Rori and Corellia I've used as well, but I don't remember the names, so I provided the ones I wsa sure of.I was hoping to offer some help to Raph in his FAQ guides since the subject of what to kill comes up at least once a day and that FAQ section is not available yet.

I think everyone uses a simliar approach to attaking lairs but in all the above cases, I use the pattern to kill the 2-3 things in front of the lair, hit the lair once, kill the 2-3 things that come out, then i hit it down to half health, kill the last 2-3 things that come out, then I just kill the lair. I've seen some that just whack the lair to death and get destroyed by too many things coming out. I used to follow that method prior to decay...

I leveled on sharnaff missions out of Corellia player terminals, they do take a higher mission level however. The bulls give 4500 exp w/ group bonus and the normals are something like 3500-4000 they avg around 10k ham with only 10% kinetic. No aggro, No DB but are social. The missions are 11k rewards so the $ is nice too

On Rori the best things are Tortons. Shallow Tortons can give up to 1k, depending on your skill level. Tattered Tortons give much less and are easier to kill. Tortons, not the shallow or tattered just plain Tortons are much bigger and tougher. They can give +2k per kill but are hard to find, they usually hang out some where in the middle between Narmle and Restuss, the plains section. They also BAF, I always use a pet with them, actually it's two if you can call a probot a pet. Be warned, if you are attacking Shallow Tortons and the bigger Tortons are close by they will protect. Yeah, I found that weird too, but it happened to me. I've never tried the tusk cats so don't know what they give. Oh and if you can find the Pygmy Torton cave, you can clean up nice. Watch out for the Mature, Protectors, and the Matriarch, everything else it pretty easy. Leviasqualls give decent XP as well, put are rather tough especially if in groups of more that two.

Just curriuosI never bothered to check, but do you get more xp the farther you are advanced? Someone said he was only getting 3200 or 3500 off huurtons? I was getting 4200-4900 from them. I was pretty much solo the whole time too. using thisI made 150k xp in about 5-6 hours. MaybeI was hunting matrons or stalkers and not howlers, that could be why? What iIdid from novice fencer til about lv 2 in all was hunt on Talus killing Tortors (bulls give 2800-3200, females give 1800, and baby's give 600-800) after that went to rori and just stayed there a week near rebal outpost killing anything that moved, averaged about 1k per kill on everything, plus you can do faction missions while you hunt, i tried yavin for a bit and prepatch got my booty kicked but since defense mods that would be a good place to hunt too. Then finally finished up on Dantoonie with the huurtons.

Yes, the higher you go, the less xp you will get. I've heard of some that will reach the max one handed xp before leveling to take advantage of the greater xp bonus you get at lower levels. I found that going up the trees as I got the xp was better since it opened up better defences and usually a better move than I was using.

I also have done the bulk of fencing XP solo, only using pets in the early days. I've since gotten bored of CH and have been using pets very rarely now.

I should have mentioned the following on my initial list:

Corellia:
Drall Patriots - I've been through the cave in the swamps a couple times. The XP is ok, but the loot makes it worth it, 120 credits per kill isn't so bad, but I usually live poor.
Lord Nyax - i haven't met a fiend of nyax yet that didn't knock down with dizzy/lunge. 4500xp per kill and they walk so far apart that you can usually take them out one at a time. The lesser Nyax followers are also good, missions against them are close from Doaba Guerfel, in the 800-1200 meter range. I usually take 2 NW missions and then just keep going west and run into tons of them and Dralls then head south to the rebel hideout and run into a handful of other bandits that give out from 500-1500xp plus cash and goodies along the way, so its good xp and money.
Giant Carrion Spat - also plenty of these north east of Doaba Guerfel, missions available, when I did these, I was getting 2100 xp a kill but that was early on, I would imagine now I would get maybe 450 but don't know. Either way, good for starting fencers and if you're looking for babies to tame mount...
Mottled Wrix - When I did these I was getting 1500xp per kill, again kind of early on. I found that by the time I could take out Grand Wrix lairs, the xp was too low to bother with. Same goes with Crimson Razor cats. These creatures do tons of mind damage making them not worth it to go for with the way I migrated my stats.
Yavin 4:
Choku - I don't have much info on these, except that they are easy to kill and I recall getting about 2500 xp each. There are a variety of them and it seems that if they con white to you, you should get some good xp off them.
Mamien - OK xp, but for me, I had the hardest time killing the ones that con blue and lt blue. I didn't read too far into it, butI think they have some defence against blades or my luck was totally up that day cause my shots were doing nothing to them, just a guess but my advice: stay away.

ahh yes, another person from Rori. just a few corrections to your post. shallow tortons are NOT social, they will not attack you while you kill their brothers and sisters. shallow tortons give 1100xp and tattered give about 960. this all depends on your skill level however. the regular tortons are social. as well, ravenous tortons(level 34 creatures) are social but do not deathblow. about 4000+xp for rav tortons. the tusk cats give around 1500-1600 xp but they db, are social, and just a bitch to kill. leviasqualls are good xp for ranged people but not melee. they hit hard and have 5500 HAM. plus a 30% resistance to kinetic. i've seen leviasqualls own tusk cats.

garyn bunker on rori, just outside of narmle, gets you around 16k xp. hardest guy is the marauder which gives 2200xp. neo-cobral bunker is hella tough. some guy shot me for 1100 damage once.

right now i'm on dathomir hunting brackasets.

erm, nevermind about the torton bit. if other tortons are around the shallow tortons, they will aggro on you. perhaps i should read the posts first before i reply.

If you do plan a trip to rori, head due west of the rebel base, you'll hit the bat cave and the pygmy torton cave. For lower level fencers these caves are pretty easy and you will get some good xp, but if you're above the 2/2/2/2 point, its not worth the time, you're better off looking for ravenous tortons. As stated above, they will all start fighting you and they stick pretty close together, but if you mask scent you have a pretty good chance of only having to fight one at a time. As for finding them, i like them as pets and I have good luck following the southern river valley to the pygmy torton cave.

Also if storm trooper killing is your thing, head into the hills west of Moenia, Naboo. All around the Imperial theme park are small bases with 2-3 storm troopers at each tower, I tried it last night and was doing great until I ran into a bunch of overt imperials...

On Lok there are some lower level creatures worth going after, I don't know their name but they look kind of like mini fambas. These would be for lower level fencers, I only get 500xp per kill on them anymore but they are real easy and are mostly in the hillsn,nw of Nym's stronghold. I plan to head there to kill more Nym's guards, good xp and they seem to drop the best loot right now...

check out the FAQ for weapon advice, rebels are just as good for xp as storm troopers...i prefer killing creatures for xp, you can farm a lair but not a faction base...
