Thread: Where are people getting the poison and mind fire weapons??

Are this powerups? Are there actually other fencer weapons that do more than kinetic or stun damage?

janta and mokk missions give you knives that have dots. tuskens sometimes drop gaffi sticks or vibroblades with dots too.

What type of tuskens and Janta/Mokks drop these. I did fort tusken all day one day and got jack. I also run Janta and Mokk shaman missions alot. Is there a certian type i should be looking for. If so any suggestions on where i can find them.

Heh 1 day isnt going to cut it bro. I did fort tusken for about 2 months straight to get 2 good mind dot gaffis.

mokks, jantas and tuskens use one-handed weapons.
in the loot tables, the corpses of these npc's have a chance to produce a one-handed weapon loot.
the chance for a normal one-handed weapon is high.
the chance for a pretty good (almost as good as crafted) one-handed weapon is medium.
chance for a DOT w/poison is low.
chance for a DOT w/fire is super low.
...so basically all you can do is kill these mobs over, and over, and over until your luck pops and the system spawns rare loot for you.

I have some really nice dot knives from jantas and mokks
and a mind fire gaffi unlimted use from a tusken chief

I've gotten2 DOT Stone Knives and 1DOT Janta Knive from my Janta Shaman and Mokk Shaman missions last night alone. It seems as if Mokk shaman drop more of these.

Very few people know it but there is a POI on Talus named Erran Sif that has npcs which almost always drop dot vibroblades. I've gotten multiple mind poison vibroblades and just recently looted one with 502 strength mind poison and infinite uses.

Just wanted you to verify the Erran Sif for me, read this forum saw your post, went to the POI, completely empty, no NPC's no Erran Sif, I even checked back twice, one hour apart, you sure this is what you meant cuz if i can get some 500 strength DoT VB's I'd stop by this POI everday.

Heh went to the POI got a bunch of vibro blades but none of them had DoTs, then I went to the detition center to kill some dirty rebels and guess what! got a vibro blade with a 78 strength mind poison but only 7% potency oh well at least I still have my 200 poison stone knife and 150 poison janta knife want one of those damn fire gaffis though
