Thread: Scary Thought
Has anyone considered that the way that Slicing 4 works is "as intended"? Just wondering if the trade off for a sure thing is a lesser result. I can buy savings bonds (a sure thing), but get far less return than if I bought stocks (a risk). I am concerned that this may have been Sony's intention. I know, you can buy clamps and turn it into a sure thing at any level, but who knows if Sony even thought of that...they missed enough other stuff (pet Rancor for any of you novice CH's?) Just a thought I had...
As I said in the other post, I am slowly starting to believe this theory. Hopefully we can get some hard facts when the devs report back with SanTzu

I have not done testing but this could be true if the use of the clamp is what determines the result and not the level of the slicer.
This means that slicing 4 gives you the ability to make clamps.
So somebody with lower slicing has to compare results using clamps or not to see if this is true while a higher level person needs to compare clamps vs fan also.
Currently I am testing to see if the wuk has any effect on my results. I want to get a some more results to see as I am not sure 50 slices is enough data points.
Please post your results as soon as you get them. I was considering doing the same experiment, and it would save me a ton of time.

Yes I will certainly post the resutls when I am done.
What if someone draws politician as thier Holo profession?
The likely result will either be the complete ousting of the current incumbant or a hostile takeover by that person's PA.
And then it will stay that way for nearly 6 months as we crawl up the tree ever so slowly once a week.
Since your 'path' to the Force is created at character creation, this should not affect a lot of people (yet).
However, it is concerning to whoever has created their character after the City patch, is the Politician pofession included in the random FSCS crazyness? Lord I hope not.
