Thread: Thanks to another great patch...
they had a ranged ability but never did any ranged attack, which upped their CL and xp given without making it harder to kill
they didn't nerf anything, just fixed a problem.... like the nightsister not using their force powers
Umm..7k should be nothing for a fencer with any sort of skill. I can tear through a savage quenker lair in about 3 minutes and I'm only 3-4-0-2 in the Fencer tree.
*shrug*
Even had no problem taking down Dark Side Savages (14k HAM) that were just wandering the plains of Dantooine. Besides, you can kill huurton huntresses or pikets if you are pissed about the quenkers.
I'm just saying that why increase an animal's ham for no reason?? What if they suddenly made Dune Banth'as have 12k HAM?? I just don't understand why they show you one thing... get you used to it.. then change it.

What exactly is your problem? That they are too weak now? or that they are too strong?
And why is there suddenly only one critter in the game that you can kill? I leveled my fencer on Talus almost exclusively on mutated kahumarra's ... they only have 6k ham - but i didn't use armor or buffs ...
Savage quenqers a always thought were pretty easy if you were buffed ...
I was hunting them today and didn't even notice if their ham had gone up. Are you sure they were savage quenker and not quenker relic reapers? The only thing I did notice is that they were using their ranged attack and would run to keep that range.
A faster way if you are looking to level is huurton howlers and huntresses. I took 8 howlers on at once yesterday, stood in the middle and did spin attacks. 30400 exp in approx 3 mins. ![]()
Well, I may have an answer as to why they made the quenkers a little tougher. Remember a month or so ago, SOE did a tally on which creatures were being killed most often, and on which planet? You can probably guess which ones topped the list.
So, in response to that, they added some HAM, fixed their ranged attack and bumped up the XP a bit. I dunno if this is the whole story, but it sounds good in theory.
