New Fencer Weapons.
Here are some weapons from the SWRPG line
I'm not going to list suggested stats, I'll leave that up to you.
The first are weapons i see as fencer weapons while the latter are more Pikeman/Swordsman weapons.
Sorry for the long post =P
Adumari Blast Sword
*quote (page 122 in the Hero's Guide)*
The Adumari blastsword is the favored weapon of duelists from the backwater world of Adumar. The sword is essentially a standard vibroblade hilt and shaft without the powered components commonly used in vibro weapons. At the end of the blade rests a small metal nozzle which caps a blast tube similar to that found in most blaster weapons. When activated the blastsword's tip hums and glows slightly abd, upon making contact with a target, discharges a standard blaster bolt. In the words of Wes Janson "It's like a blaster you have to hit someone with." Since the planet's reintroduction tinto the galactic society, the blastsword has spread in popularity to worlds with great dueling traditions.

Shock Whip
*quote 123 in the HG*
The shock whip is a weapon of speed and cruelty. It uses a long, thickly woven metal wire extending from a metal grip like a standard whip. When activated, the power cell floods the metal wire with an intense electrical charge...

Shyran (Cerean Dueling Scimitar)
*quote (ultimate alien Anthology p. 31)*
The Shyran (an old Cerean word for "dancer") is a light curved sword favored by Cereans for traditional honor duels. Metalsmiths trained in ancient methods forge the silver-hued scimitar using a magnetic bonding process and unique metals found on Cerea. Hundreds of Shyarn-ado schools(*typo here, add: exists on Cerea*) to train duelists in proper use of the sword, wich most agree takes a lifetime to master.
When one shyarn strikes another, the vibrations and contact can create a powerful temporary magnetism that links the blades. This keeps the duelists locked together dancing and twirling to avoid slicing jabs in a deadly ballet until one duelist breaks the lock to maneuver for another attack. For reasons known only to Cerean metalsmiths, the alloys in a shyarn are not magnetically attracted to any other metals.
*end quote*
Rodian Cryogen Whip
*quote Ultimate Alien Anthology p.130*
This simpler coiled whip has an outer coating of flexible metal panels. The core of the whip circulates super-cooled chemicals that chill the outer panels. As the tip of the lash strikes a creature or object, the extreme cold of the metal panels causes a near-explosive chemical reaction that generates a stunningly cold blast and a loud crack...

Togorian Scimitar
*quote UAA p. 162*
Togorian Scimitars fetch a substantial price on the galactic market. Each scimitar is a custom work of art, incorporating unique design elemetns that identify the tribe of its Togorian weaponsmith. Most Togorian scimitars are elegant resilient blades designed to withstand the most forceful blows...
*end Quote*
Togorian Vibro-Scimitar
*quote UAA p.162*
When Togorian weaponsmiths acquired vibro weapon technology, they incorporated it into later redesigns of the traditional Togorian scimitar, creating a version of the classic weapon prized by interstellar vibroblade collectors.
*end quote*
Double Vibroblade
*quote UAA p.59*
Feorin weaponsmiths adapted vibro technology to create this double weapon-essentially, a 1-meter-long haft with a curved vibro blade at each end. The wielder can use both ends of the weapon...
*end quote*
Iridonian Double-Bladed Fighting Pike (Zhaboka) (*more of a polearm =P*)
*quote UAA p. 195*
According to Iridonian tradition, the first zhaboka were simple wooden sticks with sharp scraps of metal scavenged from shipwrecks bound to either end. The modern double-bladed fighting pike is roughly 2 meters long and consists of a quarter meter long leather-bound central grip with a tempered, durasteel blade on each end. Once used to slay and fend of Iridonia's predators, this elegant weapon has achieved a significant ceremonial role in Zabrak culture. Many Iridonian Zabrak train in the zhaboka as a matter of ancestral pride.
*end quote*
Gand Shockprod Staff
*quote UAA p. 63*
A favorite tool among Gand Findsmen, this resilient weapon looks like a staff, one end of wich ends in a V-shaped pair of electrically charged prods. The shockprod staff has a 10-foot reach...
When organic material passes between the prods, they deliver a massive electrical jolt...
*end quote*
Geonisian Electro & Sonic Staffs
*quote UAA p. 65*
*electro*
This weapon is a 1.8-meter-long staff composed of hollow bone coated in resin. The tips of the staff discharge electricity...
*Sonic*
A sonic staff is shorter and thicker than the electro-staff, with a 1-meter-long resin haft. The sonic staff discharges a pulse of sonic energy that cannot be deflected by lightsabers(*lol*)..

Me i really think our new "master weapon" (if there will be such a thing) should be something really special, thats hard to use. I mean how much skill does it require to poke someone with a sword... now a master poker would be better but still. So like one of the Whips, or the Blastsword would be a good weapon imo.
Besides, wouldn't all Rodian like to see their number 1 weapon of pride in the game?
I mean Wookies got their Rykk blade.

Personally i think double bladed things are more weapons a swordsman / Pikeman would use, cause its essentially a naginata with 2 blades..
And its also just 2 2handed swords that you strike with one at a time.
Also, i feel that there is alot more strength and brute force involved when you use a dual handed sword.
(Feorins are huge btw, about the size of a wookie)

More Weapons:
From TheForce.net (they have gotten it from books)
*Vibroshield (Tka?)*
this form of personal shield was made of high-density ultrachrome, which maintained a razor-sharp edge despite hard usage. Developed by Kar Vastor to be worn along the forearms, vibroshields hummed with the power required to power their bladed edges. When used in combat, a vibroshield served both defensive and offensive uses. It could easily deflect a blaster bolt, then be used to slash the shooter in two. (from ShatterPoint - 2003)
*Void Spear*
developed by the Chestrashi race, this biological spear appeared to be a hollow, metal shaft with a serrated blade on the front and a set of guidance vanes at the tail. However, when the blade struck living flesh, it began to break down, releasing thousands of toxic microbes into the target's body. These microbes attacked the nervous system and skeleton of the target, causing a rapid debilitation which was much more devastating that the simple penetration of the blade.(Galladinium's Fantastic Technology - 1995)
*Selonian Glaive*
this heavy weapon was developed by the Selonian race, and was the primary weapon used in combat. The shaft of the glaive was formed from heavy wood. At one end of the glaive was an obsidian blade, while the other end sported a collection of obsidian hooks and barbs. Each glaive was created by an individual Selonian female, who proved herself worthy of wielding it by locating the materials herself. (Coruscant and the Core Worlds - 2003)
(we already have this one but unless you know the story =)
*Rantok*
this forged steel sword was the traditional weapon of the Unfyr Warriors of the Ka'hren. Its blade measured 1.2 meters in length, and was attached to a wooden hilt about a third of a meter long. Each side of the hilt was studded with a dagger-like crossguard. It could be wielded with one or two hands, and was equally deadly no matter how it was used. (Alliance Intelligence Reports - 1995)
*Buzz-knucks*
a handheld weapon, buzz-knucks are worn across the knuckles, and deliver an electric charge when they make contact with another body. (Star Wars: Dark Empire Sourcebook - 1993)
*Mono-cord Whip*
this vicious weapon is created from unbreakable, serrated fiber straps. These whips are capable of cutting through some plastics, let alone fabric and flesh. They were used on many backwater worlds by the law enforcement agencies, to keep rabble-rousers in line. (Star Wars Adventure Journal, Number 9 - 1996)
*Neuronic Whip*
a particularly cruel weapon produced by TholCorp, the neuronic whip causes intense pain and trauma in its target by sending electrical charges into the target's nerve cells. (Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens - Enemies and Allies 1995, Arms and Equipment Guide -2202)
*Power Mace*
similar in appearance to a standard mace, the power mace had a small energy source contained in its thick head. This energy source was used to power a small gyroscope, which added momentum to the mace whenever it was swung. Additionally, the energy source produced an electric charge which was expended whenever the spikes on the head touched flesh, adding a shock attack to any physical damage done by the weapon. (Star Wars: Marvel Comic Series - 20)
*Stun Gauntlets*
this was a form of presonal protection device which was worn on the forearm, and delivered a potent electric shock whenever it touched exposed flesh. (Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear - 1997)
Ok hehe loads of weapons here now, the point of this thread is to show the devs that there are Weapons in the Star Wars Univers so don't give us that crap about having to make them all up.
