Hi Everyone....


Just looking at the 2nd part of todays Friday Feature (August 19th) it shows that Fencer is the least mastered and played Combat profession out of all the others. Now the DEV's can't deny these numbers now. Another thing I can put under there face to say hey come on we really need to be worked on.

I think now that we know this and I can really tell them this truthfully we might actually get some things fixed! Let's hope and pray and anything else you can think of!

Jeesh, are SLs considered so weak now that you don't consider us a combat profession anymore? jk of course but it's amazing how fast fencers dropped off the face of the earth with the CU. You guys definately could use some attention too.

Some work would be nice. Lunge is pretty useless now, what is it a 5m bonus? Really I think it would be cool if at Master we got advanced Body Hit if they insist lunge is "working as intented" because it would be nice to have a just a nice power attack.

Is it too late to pray for a miracle?

since my ph>katarn or nyenblade, i took master swordsman. mswords/fencer 0004/doc 40004/tk 3400 (0403 is also good) is my temp, and i do amazing with it. with fencer like it is now, i dont see master fencer as being that worth it in pvp.

yea your ph was made with pre cu bones? how many of us can get our hands on those and even with that how long will it be till all the uber ones are gone and it is impossible to make a hammer like yours?

There is no best template. Even if there was, its definately noy that, especially when practically any Master Swordsman can have better accuracy, speed, and all the working fencer attacks, using a one-handed weapon, as long as they take x4x4 fencer.

likei said, if there was a best temp,i dont think mfencer would be in it (to tarq). a good PH is not hard to find, justa little expensive.ive seen better PHs for the same price ive seen the nyen blade. also, fencer has too many broken specials atm to be worth master IMO

not on tarquinas. i havnt seen a good hammer for sale for ages, and the ones on vendor search are like 5 mill plus. and of course none of those can be sliced cuz they were pre cu. quitch your hammer would go for 10 mill on tarquinas. id rather have mfencer with blade of nyen. awesome dmg, great sac.

btw thats just my opinion on best melee template. everyone has their own opinion of course. got improved cob/very reliable knockdown, got advanced ab and critical strike and pretty good accuracy and self buffages and great healing. all with a sword that is good/better as 99% of the hammers out there.

Isnt Squad Leader technically a combat profession?

i will be fencer till the end...

we need some stuff still fixed tho
