Thread: Master Swordsman vs. Master Fencer, Who Wins?
If only one of them has master brawler, that one will win.
If they both have master brawler, its a toss up between who is better "seasoned" in melee combat.

I was curious as to who wins this battle based on your experiences as I am currently undecided as to which I want to persue.
I dueled a Heavy, both fully armored (I heard he has a 92% composite), fully buffed. I tried everything. I stacked bleeds, I dodged almost every attack, I blinded, I intimidated, I did EVERYTHING. In the end he won because the only attack that could really hurt him was bleed. And all he had to do was heal. He mind bled me, and it was overt.I was using a Gaffi stick2??-313and I think that I might have won if I had a stun baton. I don't were to get a stun baton though =/. It was a all out duel. The only rule was no pets. We were playing for DB to. Swordsman mind bleed is very strong but if we were unarmored I really think I would have won hands down, thats why I need a stun baton.

dont EVER use a graffi on composite...baaaaad idea, either use a vibro blade or stun baton
i am both a heavy swordsman (0433) and a fencer (2000). I dont know too much about fencer, but with a little bit of their defense (44 melee dfense in total) i cant ussually beat them. When i fight master fencers with lots of PvP experience it comes down to wether we can heal (if so i win) and how many of my attacks hit, oh, and who lands the first warcry.
When i am master swordsman (with 4000 fencer and 4004 tka) i will be able to beet them easily, Right now i use both fencer and swordsman skills when fighting though. The main advantage you guys have is that you attack fast, you can intimidate+blind+dizzy+kd/posture lower in 2 seconds i think (4 seconds if the 1 sec time cap is in right now). Swordsman dont get dizzy or blind, and to just do intimidate it can take a couple seconds. If your opponent doesnt heal or isnt buffed fencer is very strong in pvp, if opponent heals and is buffed and wears armor though.. the swordsman is king (mind dmg+mind bleeds+medium armor piercing+high dmg hard hitting weapons). Even with both cantina buffs it doesnt take me long to go through a persons mind at 400-700 a hit (no armor) and maybe 250 with armor.

stun baton > composite
