If there is a medic nearby...he or she can heal your action points in no time..especially a high lvl one. Otherwise if your by yourself...the old school way...sit and relax....

One day I was "tipped" with about a hundred doses of stimpacks. After that I ran to the medcenter and took a quick night school version of medical school. Now I can use stimpack A's and stimpack B's (don't buy C's unless you've trained in medic!!!) and my favorite, the /tenddamage action command to sit down and heal REALLY quickly between fills of my action bar. The /tenddamage is basically free because the cost of battle fatigue and mind wounds means absolutely nothing to me when performing with a good sized band.

Hi - not sure what kind of stats you currently have - i migrated all of my stats successfully to buff up the green bar including the secondaries - helped a lot. Also be aware that the higher up you go the less the lower songs eat up your greenbar - so you can play longer. LOL I can now play SW1 with multi flourishes and never stop to rest or get healed (always willing to help the newbies out so seem to play the song a whole bunch).

Ok, they've covered racial choice (Bothan and Rodian are both good with action), and healing. Now proceed to your nearest chef. If he has Domestic Arts 2, you can sip Caf and eat Air Cakes for a big energy boost. After eating 4 cakes and 4 cafs, my maximum action increases by about 250, good for at least another 15-20 flourishes (depending on how fast your regen keeps up while playing). Thats another minute or two of playing on flourish frenzy.

Higher level chefs will certainly have even better action buffs. Quickness buffs (reduces the action points for flourishes) and Stamina buffs (speeds up action regeneration) are also things to look for.

Get novice medic and use /tendwound on yourself until your mind is too low to do it.

This has the effect of giving you battle fatigue and mind wounds, but those will go away while you entertain.

As an aspiring Chef I can answer this: Blob Candy, Air Cake, Carmelized Pkneb, Kanali Wafers, Dustcrepes, Aitha, Caf and Starshine Surprise. These are all great for Entertainers and can all be made by someone with Domestic Arts 4. Support your local chefs and reap the benefits!

For each of your HAM bars, there are two associated stats. Look at your character sheet. In the order listed, you'll see:

Health, strength, constitution

Action, quickness, stamina

Mind, focus, willpower

For each of the HAM bars, the two assciated stats influence your usage cost (strength, quickness, focus)and your regeneration (constitution, stamina, willpower).

So if you have a high quickness and a low stamina, you'll spend fewer action points to do moves requiring them, but you'll also regenerate your action bar more slowly.

In my experience, a quick regen is more important than having a big HAM bar or a lowered usage cost. Your mileage will vary with your activities, but for entertaining you want a large action bar and you want it to recharge ASAP. Focus on Action and Stamina and reduce your other stats to compensate.

um why don't you try to ACTUALLY play something instead of grinding out xp with flourishes back to ack to back. I can play (only without using special effects) for hours without ever sitting. This is also without a healer present, because I don't feel the need to just grind out flourishes. Now when I am helping my medic friends level up with full light show going I can clear out my action bar in under 90 seconds. It's not an inablilty it's a choice. I do understand that it is different for dancers than musicians. The final note on this is who cares if you go down for the count for a few minutes. The only people that worry about it are the xp grinders anyway, not the true entertainers.

I grind the XP so that I can actually roleplay a master musician. I'm not overly interested in roleplaying the aspiring/struggling musician. Once I've got the skills, then I'll worry about finding like minded musicians and dancers who want to truly enterain (instead of flourish mashing over and over again.)

That said, two experimented starshine surprises boosts my stamina to about 700, giving 700 for both quickness and stamina. (Twi'lek)
