According to the following post on the Ahazi boards, a number of NPC Droidekas rolled into the Coronet Cantina and proceeded gun down 10-15 AFK entertainers.

Talk about getting rid of those annoying hologrinders. My only regret is that I wasn't there to see it. I'm almost tempted to camp the cantina and wait for it to happen again just to get screenshots.

Oh yeah funny stuff. Devs make it so you have to grind stuff to get Jedi. Then they pull this stuff. I really don't find it funny. Also, should have to be overt to get killed or be scanned for illegal stuff otherwise they are not playing by their own rules.

One more thing...without the holo grinding you probably would not have many poeple to heal your mind up at all. I dread the day the holo hunt is gone because good luck trying to get your BF gone.

Do you even realize how many honest-to-goodness entertainers have been muscled away by the AFK hologrinders?

Finally, true-to-form entertainers can do what they like without the spammers, making a decent living as people HAVE TO seek them out and /tip them to stay. It'll be easy for the sociable to find us- of course, your social skills may be lacking after AFK'ing and grinding rather than playing the game.

Look at it this way- you can't AFK through crafting professions- you have to interact with it in some way. You can AFK combat, I guess, if you find a good spawn site... but that's pathetic.

Heck, if you're upset that you could set up a macro the night before, only to have it ruined while you're sleeping, I weep for you. Really- seeing how it made an honest dancer's career that much more difficult.

Personally I think they should keep jedi unobtainable and easily killed. This is supposed to be set between Ep IV & V, not in the old republic.

You mean like all the bank entertainers made when the game first went live and AFKing was rare? Oh wait, that never actually happened, entertainers as a whole have never made money.

I really fear for the future of humanity if you're learning your social skills from an online game.

Excellent! They should make this a twice-a-day thing, while of course allowing time for the non-AFKers to escape.

Funny, I made 300k a month before the holocron craze- and I consider myself a casual player.

That's good cash for a dancer- costumes don't wear like armor or weapons, we have no resources to purchase. We don't need much to live the good life.

Now, I still make over 300k, but all in mind buffing.

Did they DB or just incap? If it's the latter the AFKers will stand back up and start playing again, if they have good enough macros that is.

Deception of complaint. It's the truth of human nature that people are more likely to comlain than a vast majority will say how wonderful it is.

Which is the biggest defence the devs have for not changing anything.

Now, I never made good money entertaining. But I made a lot more before the hologrinding than now.
