If I own a Cantina or other fine establishment outside of a town, and an entertainer is doing their thing... Will the audience loose combat fatigue, or does it only work in a major cities cantina or hotel?? If they can only heal in a cantina or hotel, then that should be changed ASAP, because player run cantina's should be allowed... IMO... Thanks!

It is allowed I believe. I thought an entertainer could entertain anywhere?

As far as I know, you can heal BF in houses. At least that is what I heard, so I am sure it will work in your cantina.

As a musician here's how things work:

Battle Fatigue will be healed in a Cantina, Hotel, Theater, or Player building.

willNOT be healed in a Camp, Medical Center or outside.

Mind Wounds will be healed in a Cantina, Hotel, Theater, Camp.
willNOT be healed in a Medical Center, Player building (excl. Cantina) or outside.

Mind Healing occurs EVERYWHERE. Medics will find this useful as they will notice their mind increase in damage points faster if they are listening/watching an Entertainer.

If I wanted to start a cantina and promise ATK entertainers as often as possible would you accept an hourly wage? And if so, what amount and how many hours despite the fact that the place might be dead for your whole shift? (I would of course make sure the place was well advertised, and stocked for customers to help draw people in).

Would you prefer a different pay type? Or could you suggest a more effiecient method to get as much ATK coverage as possible?

Also, please bear in mind, part of my motive here is to promote entertainers as well as Player structures. And of course...to make as much money as possible off the venture (and yes I know there are more profitable ones).

Maybe a rewards system or something... Depends on how long the ent has been playing, but if you can provide them with not only pay, but maybe a house (if they're that new) or decorative loot items to decorate thier house with. Hook them up with either a good cheap furniture vendor, or get an architect who can help them decorate. Lets face it most ents love decorating. Help them out with nice clothing, maybe an exquisite leotard. If you or your guild get any entertainer buff tapes, give them to your entertainers instead of auctioning them off. Help them get the things they normally wouldn't be able to as "advanced" payments for working there for anextended time. I don't recommend dangling carrots, just nice "bonuses" handed out from time to time.

Well...let's see. Two entertainer missions every ten minutes for an hour, call it an average of 1,100 credits per mission, equals 13,200 credits per hour. That's about what I could earn if I just did nothing but gig missions. Or you could work out a furnished house, clothing and entertainer droids as pay.

I think asking performers to cover two hour shifts five days a week would be a place to start. If someone plays that much or more already, anyway. The problem is findingfolks who play at various times, either two performers to cover Music and Dance, or a double master. But if you really encourage live performers, I think it's possible. Maybe not all at once, but if you were encouraging it would happen.

A thought: put a cover charge on the Cantina. If you really do get to the point of having live performers all the time (or almost all of the time), especially if they remember to register, it would be worth it.

I find that having someone procure for me goods and services that I need is far more valuable than the actual cash value of those goods/services because it saves me time in searching. The deal will be different for each entertainer

If I understand you correctly, I had an idea like this once... It was quite elaborate, but I never tried it out. Conceptually it involved me making a crate of an item (it would not matter what)... then I would put these for sell on my vendor (uncrated). Peoplethat needed Entertainment would need to buy one of these off of my vendor and give it to an Entertainer working in my cantina. Each worker would need some kind of proof of employment, so I would also need to make some item (not crated so the patrons would be able to identify them to me if they had a complaint or praise) for that and give to each employed Entertainer. The Entertainer would need to /denyservice to patrons that had not given him/her a "token". Of course this is conceived in a way that I would not have to be around the cantina myself much or even online : P. There are some loop holes in it, but I never tried it out because I did not think there would be enough regular traffic to support it...

IF we could get some cool Player Created Content tools, the sky would be the limit with stuff like this! There seem to be some on the way, so I am eager to find out what there will be initially.
