Since the patch allowing crafter respecs, i have been unable to heal battle fatigue. We have lost quite a few dancers in the server of intrepid, but the couple we still have claim they are too far when we try to watch them. Unfortunatly if a jedi is not around to heal our bf, we will soon be worthless in all combat, as the mind regen rate will be unbearable. Is anyone else having this probelm, and any technique that works?

I have same problem at Europe-Infinity. I'm a Wookie and when i put /watch or /listen it tell's me that i'm too far away, over and over again.

Only solution what i have came up is just do /watch /listen several times (around 20 times) and eventually it's start to listen/watch. Dunno why it behives like this but that 20 times should help in that. It a Bug i think.

But neverless i always keep one sentence in my mind after CU "Resist is futile, Adapt or Quit"

If you leave the structure and come back, you should be able to watch or listen again. I've had good success with this method. It's sort of like having to go outside to pull your crafting droids.

I'm not sure how you're getting battle fatigue aside from cloning. I went out hunting last night and after 6 hours of constant combat, i came home with 1 bf and 1 wound.

It's a known issue and there have been lots of posts for it, so don't worry. There's even a focus thread for it on the Musician's forum. If you are having issue trying to find an entertainer on your server, check the profession thread stickies as you might be able to find people on your server. Also, check out http://www.swgentertainer.com/ to see if there are people available.

Worst case, I'll come roll up an entertainer over there to help out. /grin

There's still plenty of entertainers on Intrepid. Just most of the ____ are gone now so it's not as easy to just drop in at cantina A, B or C and catch a heal.

You have to go where the live ents are or make friends with a few and put them on your friends list so you have someone you can call or go see when you are in need. You can also check to see if anyone is on the Ent chat channel. They may be lurking. And don't forget to use the Ctrl+V map. Look under Cantinas. If you see the Sun symbol, that means there's at least a Novice Dancer or Novice Musician in there who /registered.

I've often traveled to the client, or they come to where I am or we meet somewhere in between. It's not much different than any other profession in that way. If you know a weaponsmith and you need a new pistol, do you send him a tell to bring you a pistol to where you are or do you go to where he is or to his shop? Same with entertainers. Some are On Call and Will Travel. Some are always "Working" inthe cantina, especially if in their own city and you should go to their location. If you want fast, friendly service.

You could wander around aimlessly checking cantina after cantina hoping to accidentally stumble over a dancer or musician somewhere. $$$$$ and wasted time....

Entertainers on your Friends List. Priceless.

I have also tried everything. someone posted to type //listen but that didn't work for me, i've gone outside and back, had the musician go outside and back, nothing, this has been days and my bf is getting out of hand here. Does anyone know if anyone is aware of this? I can't seem to find much about it or what to do.

Please post the "too far away... " problem there also, it's an official focus tread and I hope the more people report their frustration there the sooner it will get fixed.

This is a really interesting problem. Most cases I've heard of have been able to solve the problem by leaving the building and coming back. Another thing you might try is exchanging a few emotes to help the server determine where you are.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to re-create this bug, so I have no first-hand knowledge on the problem.

Please post about it in Virrago's focus thread. Thanks for letting us know about it, and if you find a workaround, be sure to post it here!

A quick lesson in clickifying things

A clicky to the front page of the forums would be written: Forums!

After you finish your post, click "Edit as HTML" then hit "submit post" and you should have a clicky saying "Forums!" that links you to the front page.

How is BF getting too high? My combat toon can't seem to acquire any. I don't PvP but if you do and you clone at a player city (yeah the NPC ones are busted) then where are you getting BF? I've been incapped more times since the CU than the whole year prior that I played and I think I've acquired maybe 50 BF total. I did clone once to get 100 but still I'm hardly getting any. On the new planet you don't even clone you just respawn with no wounds, no BF, and no decay.

I finally got to experience this bug tonight. I had just respecced (not sure if that has anything to do with this bug) and went to the Coronet Cantina for an Inspiration buff. I /greeted my Dancer friend and tried to watch her, but got the error. I tried /watch and the radial watch several times, but it did not work.I left and re-entered the cantina and it still didn't work. I /emoted to her a few times, and tried again, and /watch finally worked.

I'll test this a little more tomorrow. This is the first time I've had the bug, so I'm not entirely sure how to re-create it for testing. We'll see.

A couple of questions for those of you who have had the bug more often:

What type of venue was it? (House, P. Cantina, NPC Cantina, etc)
Had you recently respecced?
Does your template include Entertainer skills?

What worked or did not work to resolve the issue for you?
