This is but another nail in the coffin imho.Say what you want but the crafters are all saying the same thing and you are not listining. The General forum was not as besieged by flame as this one was and comments were constructive. Take a look in the mirror, we are all in the same game. Without crafters there is no use for ATK musicians ATM. How do you feel about that? Think my post was a flame on ents? It was an attempt to help you get your code fixed but you seem to have turned against your only customers. Good job.

silver lining! you get your monthly sub to spend on comic books and Britney records!

Oops I did it again...I played with your heart...and now the crafters all daaaaart!!!!

Here is the thing.

If no crafters can find Entertainers to buff them, you are all at the same level you were before this patch anyway. That means that the only people caring about it are you, not your customers. Unless you're exaggerating, of course.

You're further alienating us by somehow thinking we are in charge of "our code," as well as being unnecessarily vague. What is needing to be fixed with our code? The number of Entertainers isn't something in the code, I'm relatively sure.

If you are concerned about the lack of Entertainers, ask your friends if any of them would like to become Entertainers. Ask the developers if they could make us more useful.

But please do not come here to tell us we don't know what use we have in game. We spent a very long time having no use in the game, ATK or otherwise. How do I feel about that? Absolutely indifferent if my "only customers" are going to make generalizations about my life in or out of SWG and accuse me of not listening without reason.

No. You are not listening.

The crafters are all saying the same thing, and it's "We don't need crafting buffs." At least, that seems to be what they're saying, considering I can be registered, live, with my MMusic title up, in an active public cantina (one that is known to be active, namely Mos Eisley) and not one person comes in looking for a buff in 2 hours.

Your premise, that "all crafters desperately need these buffs," is clearly false, because if it were true, I wouldn't be able to put my MMus title up, let alone go into a cantina, without being literally beseiged by requests. If you don't think that's so, compare with what happens when I have my ID title up. In a typical 2-hour period I will get at least 4-5 ID requests. And ID requests aren't even needed. You can play the game looking any way you want without your crafting, XPing, levelling, etc, being in any way affected. It's all just cosmetic. And yet I can't put my ID title up and be in a public place for more than 15 minutes without getting a request. Yet let me put MMusic up as a title and be in the same public place for two HOURS and I get nothing... not one request.

So where the hell are all these crafters you keep telling me are dying to get a buff? If people in need of an IDer can find me in 15 minutes, why can't crafters find me in the known ATK entertainer hangout on the server, in 2 hours? There is only one answer: they clearly aren't looking, because they clearly don't give a hoot about the buff. Oh, I am sure a FEW of the crafters on my server want the buffs, but clearly not even as many people as want an ID session... which means people obsessing over buffs and freaking out over not being able to find a musician or dancer must be a very tiny group indeed.

We have told you, over and over, that we are there, and nobody asks for buffs. Instead you keep instisting that this is killing crafting. How can it be, when no one seems to even want the damn things?

So do you feel better now you got that off your chest? Perhaps the reason you aren't enjoying the game experience is because of your elephantine ego and inability to play well with others.

You want to be constructive you say? Take a look atyouroriginal postagain and tell me what's so constructive. We agree all buffs should be active. DUH! We've said that since long before you even knew there were people who actually enjoyed simply playing music in this game. Oh wait.. You still don't know that apparently so let's just say we've been saying that buffs should be active for a very long time. We've been asking for better ways to make entertainers searchable. We've been asking for functionality and purpose. Good gods you act like you just discovered the wheel while failing to notice the cars zooming past you on the freeway. The entertainer professions have been begging and pleading and telling people our numbers were dwindling and no one gave two credits. You're finding it hard to enjoy the crafting experience because you can't find an ATK musician to give you a buff. Your consolation prize is this lovely parting gift of a sparkler. Wave it proudly.

have you guys read that post or any of the crafters that have posted after it? All say the same thing, if you don't make the best available you don't get the business. Sure anyone that doen't take their crafting prfesion seriously doesn't need buffs, but neither does anyone...blah blah blah..... Wait wasn't this said at least half a dozen times already? I think so......

I am tired of this sophmoric argument of whether this about a flame on entertainers or as it was meant to be (and I am the author of said flame) a flame on the devs/patch. This is not about you guys for tenth time, and I am sorry if you cannotget throught /ranton /rantoff tags but your ego is preventing you from seeing the problem, not mine. I have no problem getting buffs and I have to see an atk ent that has had me on their ignore list. HmmI thinkI said that a few times as well. I and my fellow crafters are spending less time in game because we must "conserve" our buffs or can't find them at all. This is the fact, its been posted, and I don't see how you can concievably think that this is good for the game?

Okay let me try to put this in very simple terms.

1) Yes we have read numerous posts from crafters.

2) Not all ofcrafters say it's hard to get a buff. (I'll refer you to MrHawat's post here.. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=musician&message.id=32177

3) Not about us? Then why are you posting here?

4) We alreadyagreed there are problems with the system - about 100 times already.

5) We have no more influence over the development system than you, in fact we probably have less.

6) You're the one who thinks musicians have no purpose without you. How is that not a problem with your ego?

How about you make some suggestions on improvements or additions that would solve your problems instead of continuing to say we don't understand the issues?
