Thread: PLS let me heal BF in camps
I am in agreement that healing BF should be a perk of master musican and master dancer- but not master entertainer. It's not all that difficult to get master entertainer, which is why I strongly disagree it should be given to that particular profession as it would be a relatively easy for a combat class (looking for a way to avoid the cantinas and heal his own BF) to master. However, master dancer and master musician are far more diffuclt to achieve, and take far too many skill points to be viable for those who want to cheat the cantina healingsystem.
Master musicians and dancers are usually saving up to open their own private cantinas anyway, so I wouldn't expect them to hang around the public cantinas when they can pursue other interests. But there will always be a need for cantinas- public or private- provided camp BF healing is made VERY difficult to achieve.
So my vote: yes to master musician and master dancer to heal battle fatigue in camps. NO for master enterainer.
I do not know why this would be such a big deal for anyone. People will gather if they want to. If they do not want to, forcing them to gather for the sole purpose of healing BF is not wise. I like to solo in the game. I do not interact that much unless I want to. And with the cantina filled with entertainers not doing any flourishes or with the AFK message above there head, I do not feel compelled to listen to them or want to come to visit them. I just want the ability to be able to bring down BF when my group is between a couple of missions that took a toll on our minds. Currently mental woulds are able to be healed, BF should be included in that. I do not believe that Healing in camps should be restricted to a few professions. The medic at leasts serves a purpose if the want to leave town, an entertain does not. If a person is hurt and they want to be healed, all they need to do is walk in to a medical center, sit and leave the keyboard until they are healed. That does not seem to social to me.

Allow healing of BF in camps if the following conditions are met:
-Player is a Master Dancer, Master Musician, and Master Entertainer. With this comittment to the arts a player is left with minimal points to invest in only the most basic of combat skills.
-Camp is a higher level ranger camp. This promotes the ranger class.
The character you describe is a true mule one that has no other function than to heal. By allowing folks to play character that are not cookie cutter models of each other SWG does away with alot of the muling needs.
Based on posts on the various boards the only type of person that would actually play a master ent, master musician and master dancer would never have the desire to step foot out in the field.
Are my requirements high? Yes, it was by design. You add BF healing in the field and you will get bots that is a fact irregardless of the requirmenets put on it. At least make the requirements stringent enough that it takes the bot a marginal amount of time.
Adding the ranger requirment throws an additional requirement in to make healing BF possible. How many people would not only PL a Master dancer/musician/entertainer and a Master Ranger. A few, but a lot less than normal.
Or if you want to keep it simple for the devs, throw BF in to master ranger camps and let Master Dancers/Musicians (I'm sorry ME's. I am one too and its so painfully easy to get) heal at 25% of normal. Novice to Pre-Master dancers/musicians heal at 10% of normal (Normal being cantina level), and pre-novice heal at 0%.
Not one arguement can be made on why BF healing in the field *has* to be available. It's a convenience and that does not equate to being a required need.
