That's not true. An artisian has to survey for materials, buy harvestors, buy materials, find good spots where materials are located, actually go out into the wilderness, dodge agro npcs, etc.

I'm not an entertainer, so I cant vote. However, if I could, I would vote no. I do think that people should tip entertainers more, and I do think that entertainer is the easiest class, because you don't really do anything. That does not mean I don't appreciate entertainers and don't tip them (and I think i tip fairly generously) but if you go for an easy class, don't expect a lot of money.

Since when do you "have" to buy harvesters? It's optional. Artisans can even build the other tools they'd need, such as other survey devices, so you could literally spend nothing but your own time to make anything in the game. Just do what I always see artisans doing: find a spot, go AFK (btw, dancers don't get xp if they're AFK, and no dance xp if they aren't flourishing), and wait for the resources to roll in. Add that to the fact that they're the only class in the game that everyone will eventually have to give money to....now what's the easiest class in the game? Not to mention the greediest...

Bumping this in the hopes that the devs hear what the entertainer community has said and not just what the correspondant thinks is important.

As in any free market, if people use it to force tips, there will be people selling their services cheaper or for free. And you have to be at the keyboard to use it. I don't see why I cannot deny my services to somebody who's first word's are "dance for me, bitch".

If /deny actually makes it to the live servers it will be a testiment to how fuked up this correspondent system is. There is an obvious majority of NOs in this thread, and there has been a majority of NOs since this topic first came up. Plus, anyone who plays in a private cantina would know that you can just kick people out if you don't want them there... simple as that. If I would find anyone in my group using this command I would go and start my own group. I don't need to be playing starwars1 to begin with, and I sure as hell don't intend on helping out a-hole newbie entertainers.
