Thread: Hello Everyone ! and what are your issues ?
Great input everyone....I was going to try to get my preliminary report up tomorrow, but due to an unplanned event (the %^&*#ers decided to schedule me to work tomorrow) I'll have it up by Saturday afternoon for your comments.
Remember I can only submit 5 items...though many more are valid.

Was this ever explored in beta or discussed as a possiblity? A simple 3 octave western scale would be 36 notes.
I'm guessing they won't, and didn't, do this because of copyright issues. Heaven forbid some novice musician starts /flourishing Stairway to Heaven or Smoke on the Water and ASCAP finds out about it.

Lol, no doubt! And don't forget about BMI, they're such ruthless thugs!
My biggest concerns:
1. Tip system:
I know there are those always tip however, I have started to keep track and have found that only 1 in 20 tip an individual or the group. It has gotten to the point that entertainers have to flirt, beg or attempt to shame people into paying for the service that they provide. Entertaining is the only skill which players are not allowed to sell as a service but are expected to rely on the charity of others. Private cantinas will not work. There will always be stray players dancing and playing and providing the same free service which a private cantina would provide. I have a master entertainer and a master musician and Iam tired of having to carry around an " Ill dance for food" sign. Entertainers need to have more control over who benefits from the service they provide.
Im all for letting people continue to listento music and watchentertainers dance however I strongly suggest that if otherswantto be healed that entertainers should have to be asked. Others should have to request forhealing and accepted by the group or individual for that player to be healed. If some control is not given to entertainers, this class will continue to be taken advantage of and abused. My character isalways charged for a service no matter how small. Give the entertainment classthe ablitiy do the same as all other classes.
2. Music quality
I was expecting at the higher levels that a player band would be able to match the quality of the npc bands. It has been a big disapointment through out my advancement to find that most of the instrument sounds copy each other. A high advanced instrument like a chid would have the same sound as the instrument I started with. The music themselfs could use some help as well. I would love to see a system put in place where the entertainers / musicians could write their own music. Have a set of chords that the players could string together patten the song and sell it others.
