I have two goodies to share; both happened last night.

  1. I sent a bunch of quick, playful but harassing messages to a good friend right as this person was telling me what a good father I will make (I habe my fist child arriving in 2 weeks).

  2. A personmeant to send a /cuddle to someone, but sent it to the random person they were IDing. Needless to say, she got a big tip .

I have managed, for years, to avoid ridiculously embarrassing mistells, although I have intercepted my share of tells...

This one, though, was *to* me, not from me, and I won't repeat it. But a "good friend" of my char's had come to the cantina to see me dance. Yes. It was Theed. Which made it all the richer when we discovered, to his *extreme* embarrassment, that he didn't know the difference between the following commands:

/whisper [message]

/whisper>name [message]

.....It took about 20 minutes to persuade him to crawl out from under his desk and allow me to teach him how the second command worked. Which he promptly aliased. Not the *worst* public mistell I have ever seen, but certainly good for 5 minutes of giggles.

I've been involved with a sweet Twi'lek girl and we usually send /tell and /reply flirts to each other. Needless to say, a few of them from me have gone to the wrong person (the same person)!

In no particular order:

1) While she andI were flirting with each other, a friend of mine sends me a tell as I'm hitting the enter key. He gets a nice reply of *nuzzle* to his question. That took a few days of explaing to get that one cleared up.

2) Another one while we were flirting, he sends me a tell and got a reply about something rather embarassing and a little risque. Another few days to clear that mess up.

3) She and I were discussing the possibilites of having our toons be in game lovebirds. As you can guess, he got my question asking her about it. Still haven't lived that one down.

4) She asked me a question and instead of /tell or /reply, I just come right out in guild chat and gave a rather risque answer. Hard to cover up those tracks.

5) Just another night of seriously flirting, he gets a /reply *kiss* hehe to his question. Add another to my list of MT's.

Oh, forgot a really good one, not quite a mistell but more of amiscommunicated tell.

Iwas in the Coronet cantina, having some funand looking for some entertainers interested in buying a droid. i had a few intrests but wound up selling it to a very sweet girl. After the transaction, another asks me if I have a crafting tool for sale. I said yes, and qouted her the price on it. She agreed on the price and the deal was made. After about 30 seconds or so, I got a tell from her asking me "Got wood?" Needless to say, I hit the ground laughing like a hyena. Before I could recover and reply she says "I need some wood". Laughing hysterically, I replied as professionally as possible "No, sorry. One thing I don't carry around with me".

I had my worst misstell ever (not "T" rated, so I won't be sharing) recently due to the chat lag problem. Something along the lines of
t pe/rsonName blahblahblah
What's great about it is that the very next day, they fix this problem.

The other day I got a really raunchy mistell from an entertainer group leader (which I won't repeat.) After asking her for an invite in spatial a few times, I sent a tell, which produced said mistell. I got an invite along with a good understanding why she had been too occupied to pay attention to spatial!

So the lesson to learn here is if you are the leader of the band, don't use /r for side job...

I made an interesting one the other day.

I was chatting over tells to a friend about the t-shirt I was wearing, because it had all the bounty hunters from the Empire Strikes Back on it.

I accidently say in guildchat, "Yup, I have Boba Fett between my breasts."

Then get lots of "Lucky Boba" replies.
