You do get Entertainment Healing xp whether or not you flourish...though you heal someone faster, I think, if you flourish. But if you're maxxed out on performing xp (music or dance) and just need Entertainment Healing, you can just do the basic performance loop without flourishing.

Another tip that me and a buddy worked out the other night...

He was finshed with the Dancing Tree except for the Healing branch and the returns he was getting in the Cantina scene were not quite going to cut it. In searching for a way to increase returns we came up with a neato little two person macro. It was fun working it all out so I will only give you a hint...

Go to a player city with a med center on a planet that has a radioactive resource available.

Oh, and supposedly you won't be able to do this after the vehicle publish.

The /tenddamage timer is the same for a Novice Medic. 10 seconds. When I do it to myself, it generates 2 Battle Fatigue and 7 Focus and Willpower wounds. I think it does the same when I do /tenddamage to someone else. Higher Medic/Doctor skill would probably increase the amount of damage healed over a Novice's, as I get better results wearing a +25 Injury/Wound Treatment bio-enhanced piece of clothing.

Only problem is that /tenddamage or /tendwound [stat] eats a lot of Mind pool. So you might be better served to pause for 15 seconds or more to make sure you don't run out of Mind.

we've found a way to keep the XP coming in. It does take some help, but I think I am generating about 600 EHXP (Entertainment Healing XP) per hour using this method.

Six HUNDRED an hour??

That's like 10 xp per minute... You should be getting 10 xp per flourish if not more, which should be many times this amount, even for one slightly-BFed person.

It is not worth setting up a self-inflicted wound macro to get 600 xp an hour. As you pointed out you need like 1,000x that to master the profession. That'd be a thousand hours. Even doing it 24/7 it'd take 40 days and 40 nights to do this.

There is a much easier way. Get a combat medic to give people mind disease. You'll get xp much faster that way.

Hi all,

I'm a new entertainer & Ican't seem to get the following ID macro to work (I'm a zabrak...horns no hair)

/target Elysius;

/image Elysius;

/imagedesignSetValue frill 1;

/pause 1

/ui action toolbarSlot 00;

The problem is I get a window up which requires me to click on "hair" & I have no idea how to incorporate that or the other subsequent stages into the macro.

Anyone?

If you want to do it in a macro (as was posted a few posts above this one), use the /ui action targetSelfor you can just target yourself and forget the first targetSelf line...

/ui action targetSelf;

/im;

/imagedesignSetValue frill 01;

/pause 1;

/ui action toolbarSlot 00;

Another great post I found while poking around on the Image Design forums...

This lists a ton of /imagedesignSetValue arguements.

I am grinding my silents, and started with Medic, then Doc, now i am approaching CM.

It strikes me that if i have someone mule for me,I should be able to duel them, poison their mind and get entertainer heal xp.

In theory, the mule can do this afk by targeting me in the first instance, setting to watch/listen and looping a macro which sends a duel request every x seconds (where x is your preference). I should be able to initiate and end the duel at my convienience, topping up wounds as needed.

A few boxes to go until Master CM, so I will try this out in a day or 2 if that doesn't do it for me.

I wrote a macro last night for my charachter to run overnight while I was sleeping to fix the action mind pool. I have basic medic. I placed 8, 32 count stim B's in 8 hotkeys & wrote the following macro:

/fourish 1;

/pause 10;

etc......

/flourish 8;

/pause 10;

/stopdance;

/ui action toolbarSlotXX (location of first stim B pack)

/ui action toolbarSlotXX (location ofsecondstim Bpack)

etc.......

/pause 25;

/startdance footloose;

/ui action toolbarSlotXX (location of this macro)

basicly, I cycle through the flourishes, stop, heal myself (MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE SOMEONE ELSE TARGETED), then start dancing again. SInce there is a delay on the stims, hitting all 8 keys in a row only uses 1 stim at a time.

Unfortunately the server went down this morning so I wasn't able to check on my progress, but my friend told me today he saw it working last night.

You can use /healdamage self and not have to put the stims in your toolbar. Just keep them in your main inventory.

Also, instead of stopping and healing at default intervals leave out the /stop command. That way if an aspiring medic is healing you already you won't waste time and stims healing yourself for 50 action. You'll only heal when you stop dancing because you did run out of action and actually need to stim yourself.

its a chance to send all the tells that you never get to answer while slaping, shootin, burning rancors n stuff...

also a chance to see wot its like to be an entertainer, make some new friends...

anyway thats the way i see it, and maybe i will keep ent for a while, i enjoy it as much as slapping stormies about hehe
