Thread: My top entertainer issue

There is, as they say, the exception that proves the rule. The fact that you'd been invited along doesn't change that in 5 months of playing I never have, and many others never have.
I know that. I guess I should have written more. The fact that I have been doesn't mean anything, but the fact that Entertainers have their place in a group/hunting party does. I think that there should be something that Entertainers have that make them desired in a group. Maybe buffs could last LESS time, but take less time to apply. That way a party would want a Musician/Dancer to stay buffed the entire time...
I don't know, I'm just saying that Entertainers should be encouraged to go hunting even if they have no combat/medic skills. Or maybe it's the hunters that should be encouraged to recruit entertainment.

Entertainers as members of hunting parties
A long trek out into the middle of nowhere is up ahead. It will be tough, both physically and mentally. The brave adventurers find a local musician to come along with them and provide some much needed relaxation as they sit around the campfire each night.
I am sure I'm not alone when I say I have NEVER been invited on a hunting party as an entertainer for the 5 months I've been an entertainer, 3-4 as master dancer. This is probably even less common now that there are player cities dotting the map.
Actually, I have an Alt on Flurry and I've had people come into the Coronet Cantina asking for an entertainer to round out the group. I had never been to Endor so I grabbed my Kloo Horn and went with them. I had a LOT of fun. It was always nice to play a little Folk music when they set up tent between nest spawns...
I guess that happens a lot less now.I haven't played my alt for months, but going along on hunts as THE entertainer is great.
