I'm glad they stay there. That's why I pay them.

Which point would that be? That you can't compete in a free market economy because AFKers offer better service than you do?

Jason, have you ever studied economics? Ever? How about psychology? Or maybe debate. We started off by saying that AFKers harm no one. Now you're saying ATKers can't compete because the AFKers are providing what your deranged mind calls a better service.

...

Congradulations. You are now arguing two opposing viewpoints at once. The dunce cap is waiting for you in the corner.

I obviously know more about economics and how capitalism works than you. I don't get all hurt and cry about it when somebody else gets the customers cause they're better than me.

I already said AFKers do hurt you. They hurt your fragile little feelings cause you know they're better than you. It must suck knowing that somebody who isn't even at their computer is as entertaining as you are. Unfortunately, nobody cares about your hurtfeelings and the inadequacy you feel over it.

Jason, I have to say one thing. You are a master entertainer. I have never seen such circular logic before. Truly astounding. Can I book you for my nephew's birthday party?

Jason, while trolling, at least stay inside believable levels. No AFKer is more entertaining than a live performer. The only thing the AFKer does is working the game mechanics in the same way as a live performer. And it's not our fault that there's nothing you can't do without a macro. It's not like we haven't been asking. Do you see a single line in Publish 7 for entertainers ? Or Dancer Top 5 from last year ? Or Ten Questions ? There is no difference in game mechanics between ATK and AFK and thats a sad thing for a game that wants to look like it reached RC ( release candidate ) status yet.

When did I say that? I didn't realize "as entertining" actually meant "more entertaining". If you're going to respond to what I say at least respond to what I actually did say.

If you know so much about economics, what happens when you get an infinate supply of something? You get null demand, no? So JasonK dear, why would you pay for something that will give you service whether you pay for it or not? Sounds pretty silly to me. Actually, it sounds like communism, to pay people that aren't working. You should save that money and buy some good armour or a weapon. Pay someone who actually puts some effort into something. Otherwise, nobody will have any motive to put effort into anything.

An increase in supply increases the quantity demanded at a lower equilibrium price. So infinate supply would mean all demand is satisfied at the lowest possible price, in this case free. Which leads to your second question.

Why would I pay for something that's free? Why do people tip other entertainers if the equilibrium price is free? Why do people pay a dollar for a free cup of coffee at the rest stop? Why do people donate to charity? Cause I think it's a good cause, I get aservice out of it whether somebody puts a little or a lot of effort into it, and so I give them an incentive to continue doing it. Sorry to burst your bubble, but flying to a remote planet and setting up amacro to run while AFK does take some effort.

No, it really doesn't. That you can even try to make that point is absurd.

Jason, you have every right tothrow away your credits as you see fit. I have no problem with that. What I don't understand iswhy you seem determined to undermine the LIVE entertainers, appear to enjoy coming into our threads and trying to cause arguments and generally just come across as a person with a chip on his shoulder over the entertaining profession in this game. I'm not looking for a debate with you - we both know we aren't going to change each other's minds on the subject.

You prefer AFKers to live entertainers? Fine. Stop arguing with us and go post in their forums. . . oh, sorry . . . there aren't any because they aren't any more interested in the forums than they are in entertaining!!

Why do you turn threads discussing entertainer issues into threads discussing me? Go troll somebody else.
