Thread: The sheer greed
Went there and had loads of people coing in and out in between hunts, talked to them all, interacted with them, generally had fun and earnt aout 40k in tips over an hour and half.
I find the trick is to earn enough to get to the busy player cities and the outposts on the advanced worlds, then you can start playing to the rich, injured crowds and although you spend a lot of time putting a lot of effort in without tips, you will get the occasional big tipper.

would you want your sister in some bar dancing for tips?
Would you want your brother out in the world killing people for money?
An alternative to the delivery missions are the crafting ones. you dont even need novice artisan to do them, just a crafting tool.
the Bestine / Anchorhead missions pay 900+ each (1800 each way) if you have a vehicle you wont even need shuttle fair. or on Naboo the deja peak / moenia missions pay 1300+ cr each.
Ive made a couple grand in the Mos eisley cantina there.
Though beng part of the RP project i do say RPing gets you the tips sometimes afterall it shows you arn't a stupid AFK grind-bot.
Or a freak trying to make credits due to a stupid apearance.Like the fat bald chick in her underwear that was there for a while /shudder
I even got a tip that consisted of multiple 1 credits tips nce.
That had me laughing for a couple minutes straight.
Must say, I've never been one to tip the entertainers, but that's going to change. Spent the past few days dancing in the cantina(yes it's a holo thing). I've actually enjoyed it for the most part and been ATK for the majority of it. Sadly, i've only recieved a few tips, but I honestly don't care about the money.
I agree with what the others have been saying. Talk to the customers. You see someone ask a question, no matter how noob it sounds, answer it. Everytime I do, I see that person swim through the crowd of the afk and start watching me. Talking will get you everywhere, spamming will just get you ignored.

Chimaera or Corbantis. I dont know about your servers but on mine, theres two options the deserted cantinas and the overcrowded ones. I try and be funny, i talk to people but they dont care. its a case of walk in run over to the guy behind the huge instrument and run out as soon as you can most people at least where I am care little for the social interaction.
I dont want a second profession, ive got a master bounty hunter and a fencer and all the other stuff combat is down right boring. starting from the ground up again aswell is plain dull. I cant train medic because ive got 1 lousy credit. Im not speaking for myself but I am trying to crafting a pure entertainer character, I dont see why our class should be forced to grind missons just to pay for a service we offer to others.
Im not trying to be advesarial but for low level entertainers at least since the holo craze its hard to make a penny.
You sound like just the type of person I try to keep my eye out for. I can identify with you for I was in your position at one point. Contact me if you need help in Corbantis. I run a band, we could use new members, and you'll get the help you're looking for. I've been in the entertaining game since the start so I know both all the benefits as well as the nuances. One thing I do not allow is for any of my band members to be in your position. So if you're interested I invite you to contact me, the band is not strictly musicians, we also take dancers and there is no discrimination at all based on species or gender. We are a little short on both though at the moment because most of the band has been forced to go inactive to answer the urgent call of Real Life, I respect that and don't demand attendance, thats why our band has shrunk from an active 13 members to about 3 active members with around 17 inactive members.
So anyhew if your interested let me know, same goes for any other entertainer aiming for Dancer or Musician. You are always welcome in Rhythm Squadron, we do not turn away anyone. I may have preferences, but they do not rule my recruitment. I take anyone that enjoys the profession and give them an opportunity to have fun with it by performing at special player events we get booked for. The result of those performance is twofold: a fun performance environment, and a decent paycheck.
And to you Musicians and Dancers on other servers, if the profession seems to be lacking in any way, shape or form come to the Corbantis Server and look me up. I am in dire need of active members to keep the band staffed for booked performances, and it is a fun experience that both you and the people you perform for will enjoy! So come see what all the fun is about!
