Thread: Some Advice Please :)

-Foods(5 items):
- Carmelized Pkneb, wound healing boost (dancing)
- Correlian Ale, wound healing boost (music)
- T'ssolok, Entertainer Buff Time Reduction
- Accarragm, Action/Quickness/Stamina Boost
- Vasarian Brandy, Mind/Focus/Willpower Boost
Equipment(2 items):
- ENT Droid, MSE Adv (1 Ent Module+ 1 Storage)
- Swoop
Regarding the foods:
The only foods on your list that I have ever used for entertaining is the Accarragm. The T'ssolok is completely useless... but especially for a newbie entertainer. With wound healing boosted in the last publish, the two wound healing boosting items would also not be all that much use. Vasarian Brandy is not needed for an entertainer.
As for the Equipment:
A newbie Entertainer would not be able to use the effects on the droiduntil they made Novice Dancer or Musician. As someone else suggested, a 10 item storage mouse would be great though... and Swoops are always appreciated. ![]()

- Contents(20 items): 1 each of the listed items...
- Accarragm, Action/Quickness/Stamina Boost (crate of 5 items)
- Token redeamable at a chef for some more goodies (how about a crate of something?)
- ENT Droid, MSE (1 Storage Module)
- Swoop
- Vehicle Customization Kit
- Fire works (5?)
- Creature Habitat (either Butterflies or Glowzees)
- Striped Slacks (+25 to Wound Healing, Music & Dance)
- Hotpants (+25 to Wound Healing, Music & Dance)
- Token for a dozen pieces of clothing from a Tailor (how about a dozen pieces?)
- some holomails with entertainment tips (suggestions about the content of theseplease)
- a nice cash tip to help them out (I'm thinking about 50K)

I'll have to get a tailor to check out the cargo pockets as containers. I've used them for stuff before, but I don't know if they can be re-named like the looted ones can be re-named.
'If you want to get really generous', actually I do .You advise to 'get some of the cloths made with entertainer tissues.' That's a great idea, what are theyand where do I get them. I'm a scout so I can look foir eggs as well as buy them, but it's great to know that eggs are even needed. Thanks for the info!
You say that I can get the(female) ents 'exquisite dancers leotards'. sounds great! I'll do that, but on a reduced basis. So that's what the 'crystaline clothing treatments' (CCT) are for! I've got those before and never knew what they were for, even our Master Tailor dosen't know that, so I'll pass it along, thanks. You said that the CCT should be of the same serial number, so how do I check that?

Also, since clothing vouchers have been mentioned, I think for new Entertainers, an ID voucher for a Master ID session would be pretty cool... it would not be as valuable to older Entertainers since they would be more likely to have advanced ID skills and/or know advanced IDs...

Everyone, thanks for the wonderful advice.
Fire works is a neat new idea! I didn't know that Ents could use them. Which ones do you suggest?
:shamless plug on
Everyone can use fireworks, and Entertainers are actually better at it than other players ![]()

Wish I'd thought of that idea, good oneTarot /hi5
Well here's my neat contribution: PETS! This may be more work than you're willing to do, but a LOT of entertainers love having a little cuddly friend. They don't need any sort of stats, they're just for looks, so its pretty easy for a BE to make them. Popular choices are Squalls (bunnies) and Jax (kitties). Maybe name them something like "You'llneed a creature handler to train me, but only YOU can love me!" You could also give away pets that could be trained as mounts, but those might need to be of sterner stuff.

I want to not only give them some goodies, but help to make them aware that there are chef things out there that will help them out. Soa crate of Accarragm and maybe a holomail describing the other Ent foods would be nice.
The storage MSE droid seems to be an idea that everyone likes, so that's what I'll do.
A Swoop (or at least a Speeder Bike, but I favor a Swoop...heh) along with a 'Vehicle Customization kit is a great idea!
Fire works is a neat new idea! I didn't know that Ents could use them. Which ones do you suggest?
I've never heard of the 'creature habitat' before (either Butterflies or Glowzees). What are they and where do I get them. Another great idea
Including some few starter pieces of clothes with Bonuses is an absoultely wonderful idea! I'm guessing that the striped slacks and hotpants are gender neutral, so they make a great idea! What are 'Enhanced Myoflex tissued Synthetic Cloth panels', and where can I get them. I'll include a tokenredeamable for more (regular) clothes to fill out the outfits to make everyone happy.
Oh, bother. I made fireworks by the crateload once with my Artisan alt. I forget now which ones I thought were coolest. Some of them are duplicate-seeming effects. I'll try to remember to mess with them again and describe the effects.
Creature Habitats are made by Artisans with only one or two boxes in the Engineering line out of a little metal and a little chemical, plus a Live Sample that you can sometimes get from using the radial menu on a creature lair and doing Search. Sometimes you get eggs, sometimes you get samples of small flying critters (bats, bees, flies, moths...eww! but the butterflies and glowzees are cute!)It's kind of like the pre-cursor to holoemotes. If you search lairs for eggs to get a Bio-Engineer to make the Enhanced Myoflex tissue for a tailor to add to the cloth they can make clothes with, you'd come up with some of the creature samples, too.
Enhanced Myoflex is the tissue that bio-engineers make that adds to Wound Healing (Music) and Wound Healing (Dance). Really well-made tissue can get up to +17 or +18, but truthfully +13 is fine, if you're going to add it to clothing that can be maxxed out. That part getsa little complex unless you're a tailor or BE yourself. (I was a bio-engineer once upon a time.) If you could hand a BE lots of eggs of the same type, as well as scaley hide, wood and some kind of meat, all with good overall quality, and the meat and eggs with decent potential energy and flavor, you could probably get some good tissue for a tailor to add to clothing.
Hotpants and striped slacks are, indeed, gender neutral. And I don't know about anyone else, but I can't stand wearing skirts while I play or dance, usually. Flourishes look dumb in them.
Another thought: scan the bazzar once in a while for Battle Fatigue Healing (Music) and Battle Fatigue Healing (Dance) CAs. You probably won't ever find more than +1's on the bazzar, but those would make nice little treats.
Though, again, that sort of only applies to someone who's a Novice Musician or Dancer or higher. Until then, you don't have any quantifiable skill in Fatigue Healing to add a bonus to.
Don't bother with the wound healing ones, you can get better bonuses from bio-engineered clothing.

Hi All:
I want to do something to help out the entertainers on my server. I want to make up some Entertainer kits to give away, here and there, to help our Dancers and Musicians out. Please have a look and give me some suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
Here's my proposed kit:
-Entertainer Kit (a Cargo Pocket named Entertainer Kit')
- Contents(20 items): 1 each of the listed items...
-Foods(5 items):
- Carmelized Pkneb, wound healing boost (dancing)
- Correlian Ale, wound healing boost (music)
- T'ssolok, Entertainer Buff Time Reduction
- Accarragm, Action/Quickness/Stamina Boost
- Vasarian Brandy, Mind/Focus/Willpower Boost
Equipment(2 items):
- ENT Droid, MSE Adv (1 Ent Module+ 1 Storage)
- Swoop
Clothing (13 items in complimentary mix'n'match colors):
long formal jacket
Shortsleeve Shirt

- Luxurious Gown
Revealing Fleshwrap
Uniform Bootshide boots
- Sandals
- Long Uniform Gloves
- Emerald Pendant
- twi lekku wrap
- dress slippers
For the boys:
- Muscle tee

- refined skirt or modest skirt
- trim lined shirt
Also:
- some holomails with entertainment tips (suggestions please)
- a nice cash tip to help them out (50K?)
