Are you sure that is the question that should be asked?
A couple things to keep in mind here...
These questions aren't the best forum for pushing an agenda. The intent, I believe, is questions to get information, not asking for a change. When you ask for information, you are looking for an answer. When you ask for change, you are looking for change, not an answer. In the past, informational questions have gotten more interesting answers.
If you still want to try and push an agenda with a question, consider hard exactly what that agenda is. I understand the idea of trying to ask something easy to get a better chance of seeing change, but it could be interpreted to mean earning money is very important to entertainers, and changing the payout may be enough to satisfy us.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying earning money isn't important. I'm just asking, is that really what being an entertainer is about? And be honest, without changing how missions work, how high would the payout have to be to make it worth it? Even if they make it 1000 credits, that's not much for 10 minute's work. I know personally the point at which it would be worth it for me would likely be well beyond how much they'd be willing to increase it to without changing how payout is decided. If we saw an increase, 1000 would be a likely target.

Hmm hard to think of stuff for just ent as I tend to think more in terms of Dancer and Musician... Did anyone ask the question about what our role in the game was meant to be and how the current state stack up against that... aka what do the devs view as our role in the game as their "exciting new playstyle" . Hmm I don't remember if this was one of the Dancer or Musician questions or not... pfft I know it was brought up some where and I know it didn't get answered.

If you get the chance to ask a question, in my opinion it has to be about buffbots. At this stage the developers (who, let's face it,are never up-to-date on our issues) probably need to have the word 'buffbot' explained to them, and the implications of the issue. When you do this, remember to be very clear, use short sentences, and not too many multi-syllabic words. They have been known to misunderstand very simple concepts in the past - such as the request for anID-style interface for buffing.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying earning money isn't important. I'm just asking, is that really what being an entertainer is about?"
Well, if I can't earn money, my fun level in the game is lowered substantially. All the fun I have just being a musician is fine, but if I can't enjoy the benefits that other, more richly rewarded, characters have access to, then yes, money is a big part ofthe difference between enjoying the game as it's meant to be played, and forcing myself to play a broken game that I hold fading hopes for. I see othercharacters with speeders, houses, droids, etc., and meanwhilemy fellow entertainers and I haveto save up justtobuy a nice set of clothes. While it's true that money can't buy love or happiness, it doesn't hurt.

Just to keep everyone informed here...
The questions are being postponed until after the publish. As the last batch of answers are still waiting to be posted, this means we'll be a week after the publish before we can ask a question.

I wonder if anyone has done a tally of how many questions have been delayed and how many questions have been answered negatively versus positively. We should keep a running tally and present it to the developers every time they put us off or say no.

I'm not sweating the questions too much. To be honest, I question the value of doing it at all, at this point. However, I'll stick with it since it's all we've got at the moment.

On the musician forum, someone suggested that since the developers ignore our questions and requests anyway, why not ask a question that shows them that we're getting tired of being fobbed off with avoidance anddelay after delay. The question they suggested that their correspondent askwas "What planet is the city of Theed, Naboo located on?"
It's kinda like the "who's buried in Grant's tomb" question. It's just meant as a protest. So I'm gonna change my vote.I vote for asking "What planet is the city of Theed, Naboo located on?". It's about time these AFK developers got back to their keyboard and started working for us. Maybe this will give them a hint that we're sick to deathof this delay after delaycrap.
As someone else said, I also think the response will probably still be "I'll getan answeron that ASAP - maybe after JTL".
When do we stop asking themquestions andstart making demands?

Our last question, something to the effect of "What is the dev's "vision" for the Dancer Profession?", was substituted for one that TH pulled off our forums. I'd like to re-pose our previous question..again and again, until it is answered..so maybe, at some point in the distant future, we can gain an answer from which we can determine a framework within which we can ask more substantial questions regarding our profession.

Unfortunately many of the corrs got caught by suprise onm the last round. The questions were supposedly going to be delayed due to E3 and FF, but at the last minute that was changed. I was too busy getting ready for FF, I didn't even find out they'd changed until I got back.
Are you asking about current vision, or past vision? I doubt the answer to either will be terribly interesting. There doesn't seem to be much thought put into the vision at the moment, so the answer will likely be something grand sounding without saying anything. And the vision from the past is no longer on the project (Holocron). However, the question was posed as one of the questions that started this all back in January, and was answered twice, once by Thunderheart and once by Shug_Ninx (LucasArts producer for SWG). (Incedentally, if you are involved in a letter-writing campaigh to SOE about the profession, it might be a good idea to dig up an address for LA as well.)
I'm not trying to come here and say "No" to every question. I'll ask whatever the community wants. (Even one of the "protest" questions, if it's well enough supported.) I'd just like to see the question be a good one. We've got a week to think on it still.

All for the theed, naboo question myself. Whats teh point of even askign with so many delays.
Whoever thinks the delays on questions or changes will lessen after JTL is nuts. Sorry. They just have more balancing, more things to work out and focus on that is "more important" than what enertainers, or the more specific professions want. It has become utterly obvious that question time, is not fruitful, other than to reconfirm that which a lot of us take for granted.
When the next question time comes around, ask em where theed is =P
