Aside from the targeting macro problem, the sort of afk buffing makes me very unhappy with the current passive buff system, since any entertainer with /join in a macro can buff multiple patrons without ever being there. It's bad enough that healing happens passively (unless you're quick enough to denyserv), but buffs too?
- Active buffs should have popup boxes saying buff x? and you have to confirm by clicking yes.
- Also, you would not get the popup box unless X was watching you specifically, but rather an error message saying "x must be watching/listening toyou in order to buff him."
- Furthermore, you woudl not be able to commence buff on another person accidentally before your buff on x was done: rather you would get a popup box saying "you must stop buffing x in order to buff y - stop buffing x?(yes) (no)"
- Active buffs would then have a popup box notifying you when the buff was done. The patron would also have a popup box, and when he clicked yes, the buff would activate (instead of the current /stopwatch or /stoplisten system which is difficult for patrons to understand and results in redoing of buffs)
- For multiple buffs in a group, a dancer would perhaps execute a "/buffgroup" command and then a popup box would appear confirming "buff the group?"
- Each group member would get a popup box at the end of the buffing session - clicking OK would activate the buff.
