Well, I had some vindication last night.

I was working on my secondary character's Image Design and was a part of the entertainer group as a result. As I was ATK, I volunteered to take group leadership.

At one point, I noticed one group member kept asking for heals, even when he had 2/3 Action. I suspected him as AFK, so I sent him a /tell nonchalantly asking why he needed a heal when he was full. Suspicion confirmed, he did not reply, but I saw three more requests for healing. I booted and /addignored his sorry butt.

Thirty thousand ID xp later, I get a /tell from someone in the group. He asks me if I could invite this guy; he's been asking for about an hour (I think that's an exaggeration, but I washappy to know it must have felt like an hour). I removed him from my list, re-invited him, and publicly stated, "Sorry, but I have to ignore anyone who spams to save my own sanity."

He thanked me for inviting him. But 10 minutes later, I see him asking for a heal when he's at full Action. I was being more tolerant than usual, so I gave him another shot. I sent him a /tell saying, "Look, I did not remove you from my ignore list just to hear you spamming again." He actually replied with an "ok." Maybe I actually made a difference. I'll have to pay attention the next time I'm on and see.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.
