You're using it as a crutch, Krupskaya. That's all. You have no real argument.

This from an unrepentantslanderer confused about the meanings of "possessive", "implicit implications (.......)" and "hypocrisy". But as you started this argument with your snide mention of "my BuffBots", I'll glady continue it to whatever absurd conclusion.

Ok, I'm out. This exchange is entirely too much like the "what is the meaning of is" dialogue favored by boring people, and former Presidents. Cheers.

Til and krupskaya have a way of argiung things into the ground. Which I find odd considering they both enjoy each others company in game, or atleast, used to.

The fight against buffbot's has long been alienating ATK entertainers from their prospective customers (like krups who always looks for an ATK ). And I for simply stating they are more efficient than ATK entertainers.

It would not surprise me, if discussions like this continue, thateven more customers will choose buffbots over ATK just to spite the ATK entertainers for their view of bot removalbecause itwill make getting mind buffs near impossible or too time consuming to bother.

Seeing buffbots being griefed in cantina's and assaulted with constant rude remarks only makes players have sympathy for them, not the opposite.

And it does matter, because some buffbots do play their chars at times, and have the macro running for efficiency.

Players know Buffbots are more efficient at buffing, and since the majority of entertainer customers only value the buff from the profession, they appreciate the way buffbots play.

Which is why giving a player a choice and encentive to choose ATK over a buffbot should be discussed more so than the removal of them.

Well, the Developers have spoken and Recursive Macroes are being removed. I'm assuming that concludes things. And I'm sure the controversy helped.

Like that will stop buffbots So now they have to push a key every 15minutes...

Well, but the point is, they have to actually be at the keyboard to do it...there's no running them all day at work or school or while you sleep. A very positive step in the right direction.

And, if there were any doubts among a certain poster in this thread that the devs didn't believe that afk was bad and aren't trying to figure out how to stop it, this certainly puts that to rest, and greatly ups my belief that the devs are, in fact, very competent. Competency involves learning from one's mistakes.

Very true, which I appreciate However I fear this fix is not going to turn out the way most are wanting.

And I doubt anyone will agree this massive thread had anything to do with it lol

Now that the Developers have spoken, I tender no doubt on their sentiments. On the other hand, you won't need to speak for them any longer, either

They will still be able to run them all day long. The use of third party programs will be so mainstream, banning all the accounts would mean a severe loss to $$ a month for SOE. It will help for a few weeks, until they figure out a way to bypass it.

Quick fixes to a symptom of the bigger problem will never meet the entire need of a community.

yup i think that too

probably in first weeks there will be some troubles to find buffing entertainers, but i'm sure that entertainer population will begin to regenerate and more buffing entertainers will be available...

now i think we have to think someting about buff mechanic, to improve it and make it more user friendly... but that's another 3d

Agreed. I'm sure things will turn out for the best. But I'm cancelling within the week anyway, and I'm just here for the controversy
