When I'm walking around my town and I see Master Bounty Hunter, or Master Smuggler I'm in awe of thier power gamming skills and only hope that one day newbs will be blowen away by me too. It was the same feeling for Master Entertainers or Master Musician or Master DancerI sawintill I tired my luck at my own Musician on Sunrunner....

Within the first day another Musician said I should look up macros and use them. I already knew how to make simple macros but he showed me a site. So I took look and was blowen away. All an entertainer has to do is set a macro up and go on with this real life. Come back later and be like million xp up. It was pointless, anyone could be master Musician or dancer without even playing the game. My newb ignorance blinded my form seeing that almost half the entertainers in cantinas are macroing with a Little AFK sign over them.

My not saving that those of you that grinded to the top without macroing dont desreve the title. I'm just saying those titles really mean nothing any more. Every one and their mom could be Master anything on the Entertain tree.

And even if there wasnt anything like a macro spending a lot of time pressing a key is nothing to be proud of. Every monkey can do this. So stop whine about the people with less time for pressing a key that use a macro to fasten this boring Exp-grind that would last forever for a normal RL-working human.

Im a Musician too and yes i use sometimes a macro over night. In my playtime i only want to make music and never look to use the best instrument or song to get EXP. And yesI think thatI with a RL-Musician-Background can chain the flourish as good or in a 'better sounding' way and with more 'feeling' than someone that is proud of pressing a key for weeks. All that counts is how i play my char when im online and if i can make the people happy. I really cant understand what problems you have with people go to a lonely place and let run a macro to speed up the progress and have fun while playing.

Sorry for the bad english im only a dump german.

So, how is macro'ing different than combat exploits?? Master BH doesn't mean a thing either. The only class that really jumps up and says **edit**, that was some work is Master Architech. That being said, stop trolling, it makes you come off as an idiot in need of a time-out.

Title means nothing for any profession. It's what you choose to do with it.

Well I don't know what to say about being a Master of anything other than what I play. I power played through being a Master Dancer. I averaged 20 hours a day and only used a 10 minute macro to use the bathroom or get something to eat.Idanced to meet people and help them in the game. If someonewants tomacro their way through the game then they can in several other fields as well. A well made macro for survey can keep you running forhours.

I love my title and wear it with pride. I have since gotten the Title of Master Creature Handler but dont choose to wear it.

I started an Entertainer and it is what I am. Those that I have met and trained along the way have become in-game friends and we group together later on.

I respect anyones title no mater if its an advanced title or a low level one. We are after all playing the same game with different goals.

Oh and BTW even at master I still dance at cantinas every chance i get. Its a great place to meet new people.

Well said Darniaq!

I didn't work my way to master dancer to impress anyone but my self Those that watched me and know how hard I worked to get the title seem to approve and appreciate my efforts.

For me being a Master Dancer means I can just dance cause I like it, I can dance to show my appreciation to the music that's being played, I can dance to heal my friends and stop dancing when the jerk walks in the door. It's no longer about experience it's now about enjoyment.

Exactly Darniq - in a couple of months, who'll still be healing wounds for little to no pay in the cantinas - the one's who macro'd to the top, or the ones that actually enjoy the profession? Then the title will mean more.

Well, I made Master Musician last night, after doing basically nothing but music since launch day (I tried artisan and brawler in beta, and figured I'd start with a change of pace for retail). I use macros for musical purposes, but not AFK xp. That said, I don't mind AFKers, and I couldn't care less whether my title means anything to anyone else. My interest in being a Master Musician comes from wanting to play music, not to impress anyone. This isn't Progress Quest (http://www.progressquest.com/), after all...

people who use macros take ex from the players that actually there pushing those buttons, and if you ask them for training and/or to let some one into the troupe, when they are the leader, well there you have it. nothing is more annoying when most of the troupe is on marcos, and the patorns noticed it. i've had it happened to me too many times. also, if they started about the same time as you did and are now masters, and you are not, they treat you as an inferior, or worse a retard, because you haven't made master yet. some are not entitled to their titles, because the ones i personally know, are bunch of master jerks.

I find your comments exceedingly strange and I have to wonder what galaxy you are on. On Tarquanis (and from what I've seen on these boards most galaxies) the entertainer community is one of the tightest knit groups, always willing to train and lend support to newer members.

When the group leader goes afk for extended periods without assigning a new leader the group should reform. If everyone in the cantina you frequent seems to be an afk macroer change cantinas it will make your life easier.

I'm sorry was there an idea in this thread that I missed, or did you just feel like being an arse and flaming entertainers?
