Because the intent is to use flourishes to entertain and not to "grind"... to play the character as an entertainer and get XP as a secondary result...

Twi'lek have legitimately the highest quickness of any race. Though they share that positian with Bothan. The problem is that Twi'lek get a penalty to stamina. The title of best stamina goes to Rodian with a 350 bonus to stamina. Everyone else is between a 50 bonus or a -100 penalty. So, the best species to be entertainers stat-wise are:

1. Rodian +100 quickness +350 stamina
2. Bothan +200 quickness +0 stamina
3. Twi'lek +200 quickness -100 stamina

I don't know if it's intended to be that way, but twi'lek are mostly known for their dancers, not musicians. Dancing doesn't use as much action as music in my experience, and twi'lek quickness is enough to deal with most dancing. (In other words, if you don't insist on doing exotic 24/7.) But a twi'lek musician will quickly find themselves winded.

Humans can have the best stats of all, but that's a bug. That's why I said twi'lek legitimately have the highest quickness.

(This message written assuming you are doing enough flourishes to keep flourishing nearly constantly, not overflourishing for a buff, and not underflourishing to maximize xp/action.)

I am finding the opposite about action use.. for me music is using noticibly less than dancing of my action... but then I have my stamina at I think 1k, and my quickness is pretty high too..

Per flourish musicians use less.. However, they have to flourish a lot more than dancers. So if you are overflourishing, muicians use less. If you are underflourishing to maximize xp/action, or you are just flourishing enough to keep flourishing, musicians use more.

I have a twi'lek musician who at novice musician would run out of action quicker than my twi'lek master dancer doing exotic. They both had maxxed stats.

I haven't made it to exotic yet made it to 2444 entertainer yesterday and am slowly working on getting higher..

I'll have to start playing with the time to XP ratio of each.. I have just been hitting the same time break between flourishes for both music and dance flourishes... except when I have fun just watching the different flourishes for dancer... (I get distracted a bit )

If you're just using a single macro for both then yes, musician uses less. If you don't use a macro or tailor a macro for each to keep you flourishing just enough to keep doing something, musician uses more.

Yeah a single macro optimized so neither will kill my action to zero, it goes through several different flourishes so I get some variation.

I will have to experiment more, especially since I am seeing some nice flourishes in the higher level dances...
