i dont think he meant focus and willpower, he meant buffing the mind pool, like medics and doctors can do to health and action.

I don't think I've asked in this forum, but what are the best mind buffs (food and spice)?

I'm getting addicted to Moun Gold...it rocks ! The downer is pretty bad mostly because it's buggy and you need to eat food afterwards (or die) to get your stats up to normal.

Yeah, that Muon Gold just doesn't last long enough to be useful beyond 1 fight. Heck i don't even touch it unless I'm already in the fight and it looks like I need it. (And yes,I have had fights that last almost 10 minutes.) But a -350 in Will and Focus means if you get caught by a mob while trying to recover, you're screwed. Happened to me last night. Best I could do was get off all of mayb 2 heals and a cure poison before I had to peace out and sit down and just wait, let folks know I couldn't heal (so they would know to heal themselves if they could) and otherwise hope everyone could stay standing until the downer wore off. (And I still had to east to clear the stat stick bug, but at least I'm aware of that bug and know how to fix it, I really feel sorry for those folks who are unawares.)

For what it's worth, highly-skilled Dancers and Musicians appear to have mind buffs. A Master Dancer recently buffed my Mind for about 330 points for up to half an hour; and as a Master Musician, I apparently can buff Focus and Willpower to about the same extent. The secret is that the buff doesn't kick in until after you stop listening or watching.

OK, we're not in the same league as you doctors with your 90-minute buffs, but it's something.

90 mins? Try 3 hours.

Part of the problem for the entertainer buffs (and I'm all for them, mind you) is the time requirements. Some preliminary testing shows that they last for 2x as long as the entertainer was listened to. (Which brings to mind the question, does the entertainer also buff themselves?) For a 3 hours buff, that and hour and a half of downtime.

Add in that not too many people are aware of the buffs and that the level of the buff doesn't seem to be particularly high. Its kinda the same deal with Chef and Smuggler buffs right now. These are some of hte only ways to buff mind but none of them can come close to the overall convenience of a Master Doc level buff on H&A.

Heck even an Enhance A level buff, only, would be acceptable.

Oh, which is not to say that I think Docs should get that buffing ability. I really could care less who gets that capability as long as we have something that provides a similar buff to what Docs are capable of in H&A. Just my .02 creds, though.

I like teltier noodles, and will be delighted if the devs ever bother to fix the food crate bug.

How can one receive mind buffs? What level does a dancer need to be? What dance to the have to use?
