Thread: current status of LE Repair Droids?

After reading the stickes at the top i'm confused.

I created an LE Advanced repair droid, threw in a repair module (thought it needed it) then sold it to the customer (my first one BTW , great impression i bet)

Next day , he says it's not working (it never worked, just took a day to try it). I have him try a bunch of different things , and nothing.

So i throw together an LE (not advanced) and ran it over to him , traded droids , and again , nothing is working.

Droids completey charged , /consented , /grouped , made sure droids had damge that needed repairing......

Are they not working AT ALL? I know the repair module works on my probot fine. But it seems the whole LE repair droid is buted.

Am i missing anything?

Guess i should stick to making Adv Probots with the Swiss army function (all modules) instead of the 'specality-POS' models we have .

Thanks in advance,

parax

Nope...you pretty much have the idea now. The LE Repair droid doesn't repair. Welcome to DE World! Enjoy!

Just the fact that repair modules don't operate in Repair droids. Fun, huh?

Enjoy!

Heh I was about to post the same qustion. Made my first LE Repair Droid last night and put a repair module in it cause it made sense to me.

Guess i'll just have to remake my R3 with a Repair mod so I can repair droids.

Why would you make an R3 just for repair?

My workhorse is an R2 Adv. with:

- Weapon/Droid crafting
- 10-item storage
- Droid Repair
- Data storage (oddly enough, I do have a few schematics in there but the Data module is pretty much worthless)

Yea...that's about the only reason.

I wanna know when I can get my R-series retrofit for those nice little rocket-engine tucked into the legs.

The repair module doesn't work in any of the 'humanoid' droids such as the repair, surgical, or protocol. It works in all others.

Also the repair module doesn't work in the Power Droid...

Didn't you hear? The leg jets were recalled years before movie 4.

Yes, I'm serious. It's on the star wars databank web site somewhere.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

Careful not to put a storage module in an adv surgical chassis or surgical chassis either.
