Thread: My Holocron Told Me Master Droid Engineer. Hello Everyone!

I play Dreznek on the Naritus server. I was a Bounty Hunter/Creature Handler when I found the holocron that told me I must master Droid Engineer to continue my path. I was pondering a career change anyway, and I've always loved the droids (and I know they REALLY need the love right now), so I'm giving it all I got.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Scopes-Heavy Axes-MSE-Adv Frames.

Steel and Fiberplast are your friends. Cheap Steel and Fiberplast are your best friends.

If you want to grind *really* fast once you get up to Adv Frames, save and/or buy your power, run 10 harvesters, 8 on steel, 2 on fiberplast, switch one of the steel to fiberplast every couple days. With this, you can grind out a box and sometimes 2 every day.

Ignore the handle, I am Gatt on Vnboards.

The man's lucky. Even though we're broken, we're a good thing for grinding. I never died once while grinding. Just buy enough fiberplast and steel, master it, and drop it while looking for your next holocron.

If it's not Scottish, it's crap!

Yeah, Steel/Fiberplast, live it, love it.... Plus if ya see any of the "D" steels (ditanium, duralloy, duranium, etc.) mine the heck out of it and save somefor the higher level droids.

When I get a holocron, it'll probably tell me to become a gardener or something.

Steel and Fiberplast are pretty much all you need to make Master. But you need lots of both. You can speed things up a bit by having about 20k of Extrusive Ore onhand near the beginning of your quest, but it's not strictly necessary.

Make MSE Droids to get to Blueprints I. It takes some ungodly number of the little pieces of crap just to get your first level, so by the time you're done you'll hate the little buggers. As I recall it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 230.

Now use your supply of Extrusive Ore to make Manipulator Arm Package Sets to get to Blueprints II. If you don't have any Extrusive Ore, continue making MSE Droids to get to Blueprints II. But you're going to want to have that Extrusive, because if you don't you need to make something like another 350 MSE droids.

Once you have Blueprints II, whip out the Advanced Droid Chassis schematic and make them until you hate the **edit** things, then keep making them until you're insane, then push through the insanity and keep making them until you're a Master Droid Engineer. The ADC is by far the best bang-for-your-buck way to get Droid Crafting experience. If you have a good system set up and are running 4 crafting tools, you can grind out roughly 2700 XPs per minute. Of course that means you're using up 1350 resources per minute, so you'll need to have huge stockpiles of steel and fiberplast on hand.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

LOL I'm already at Blueprints III, and now I realize Master Artisan would be really helpful. I really like the crafting thing, and I'd like to keep being a DE. I'll just have to go 4 4 0 0 in CH and keep my marksman pistol skills. That should hopefully get me a second holocron, and at this point, I kinda hope it tells me my path is clear. This is pretty fun!

Thanks again, guys

I got a holocron that told me to master de also, took me 2 days and I have no idea what im doing now. I ended up spending about 2 million on resources for grinding. It wasnt to hard to gind it out but be prepared to never make your money back. So far I think de sucks, you cant make any money cause the resources to make the lvl 6 modules cost you more to buy and then the time. Im not going to make a droid unless I have to. Im imperial and I have 3 at-st's so I can just do missions on dantoonie that pay 40k a pop at 800 meters. I can make 750k an hour and even if you are the top DE in the game im sure it would be hard for you to top that. I alos have to admit that its kinda stupid that I can mak ealot more money than a crafter by just doing missions. Anyways I need someone on the chilastra server to send me a email if you are a DE because I would like some help on how to do things.

Thx,

Ket Malice

You grinders are hardcore. Wonder what would happen if when you got to unlock the fs and then you found out that jedi is bugged and no one can really level up.

LOL

Cheap steel & fiberplast is definitely your best friend except for that good ole droid who you built that has the item storage devices and crafting stations.
