I agree with Cafenoir....where you peeps get the money to buy your resources for grinding?

Didn't the choad of the week just say he spent 2 mil on resources, has no clue what he's doing, hates the profession, and doesn't plan on making any droids?

If only I had a fat wallet and a strong wrist to grind it out in 2 days. Took me from 6/26 to 8/1, and I thought I was flyin.

Lord save us from developers and holocron junkies.

I find it difficult to keep up with my grinding macro if I'm drunk.

I play Eddifys N'oot on the Ahazi server and I too am to become a Droid Engineer as-per the commands of my holocron. I just hit Novice DE last night. I'm thoroughly confused as to how MSE Droids are built, but I"m sure I'll figure it out.

I was just wondering, how much of each kind of resource I'm probably going to need to go from Novice to Master? I'm going to try and follow the plan of making MSE Droids, to the Manipulator Arm Packages, to the Advance Droid Chasis grinding route. I have no intentions of actually making Droids, I just want to get this over with and get my next holocron. Sounds bad, I know..."The boy has no patience". But I've been working at CH for some time and all that is on hold while I work on DE now. I just want to buy all my supplies and start grinding. Wish me luck.

Well, I am a 3 craft Master (Artisan, Merchant, Armorsmith) and made Armorsmith by only grinding for the Layers branch of Armorsmith(they didn't really work so I couldn't justify getting them "legallly"). I lucked upon a Holocron and it told me to Master DE.

I am undecided if I want to Master ANOTHER crafting profession. Especially one that seems to be as broken as Merchant is. Merchant was easy, as you get xp for having vendors so you just put up all the vendors you can and wait til you have enough to get another box on the Hiring line to get another vendor to....well, you get the idea.

I like my R5 and Probot, which are both nothing more than extra storage and crafting stations and a blocker to allow me to run away from.....everything, Im not really a gun bunny.

I have a 12 crafting station, macro'd grinding system set up from when I ground layers. Are those adv chassis 2 resource items? Is there anything else only 2 resources that could be used for grinding? Is DE fun enough to do without grinding?

Thanks....

Well, I made the jump and I am watching my Merchant boxes fade as I add DE boxes. I feel really bad about grinding anything, so to sooth my conscious I actually make a few droids with any new box I get, both to understand what I am doing and as a salve for my soul...

That being said, if I had enough steel and fiberplast I could Master DE quickly, as my macro allows 277k of DCE per hour with Adv chassis. I can't bring myself to do that, so I am only using self harvested materials and the above salve. Does this seem wrong to anyone? In the time I did the 4 boxes of Layers in armorsmith I will Master DE. Balance issue?

I hope they fix this profession soon, but as an ex-Merchant, I won't hold my breath. But at least TH acknowledges your profession. The last time Merchant saw a Dev was when they were going to make Vendors a money sink.

And I am not an infidel, I am a sheep, blindly going where SOE's Holocrons tell me to go....

Hi everyone, I am also now grinding away. I started as a scout, worked up to bh, ch and medic. The all powerful holo told me to master driod engineer. So..I'm on my way, I'm at engineering IV working towards novice DE.

I have a question. How important is it to keep surveying? I do not have unlimited resources, so I assume I will need to have harvestors.

Another question, are there any macros that may help me to keep my crafting tools going? I'm working in practice mode to max my exp.

I want to power through this as quickly as possible. Thanks for all of your advice!
