Thread: The future of the DE 101 Thread
Perhaps have sections done by different people. Then everyone gets to offer something to the guide and it will be more of a community document ![]()
Just an idea .. working on the guide as a whole would take some real time spent on it reviewing and adjusting each element (eventually). It might speed things up if it was sectioned and each section worked on separately before a single person ties it up and puts it on the forum.
Also, may be a good idea to add in a changes section that reports each publish/patch that affects an area so everyone can see when something changed. Good for those that have been out of the loop for a while.
Now, if you had asked this nearer to xmas I would have jumpedat it as I have a 3 week holiday in colorado then and will have ample time on my hands then while my fiance is working
But even so, if no-one else has the time to spare on it I could try for some documentation time. But I'm sure there are more eloquent writers out there and someone with a better chance not to slip into english speak during the documentation ![]()
i would love to help out but with 2 kids under 3 the only time i get to work on it would be at work, but they expect me to be working at the time.
I do like the spliting up of the DE101 and sharing the load. i would definently like helping in that.
Thats assuming that I don't 'scrub' my drive before I reinstall.

if you still got the drive and you havent filled the harddisk again you could try a program called "Restore2000" it can restore formatted data and even some corrupted data too. Rather nice little proggie. Not sure if its free tho, but im sure you can afford it.

What about using THIS to work out the data over a period of time, then copy and format it, then paste it here?
That site looks cool but seems to be targetting the combat related occupations. There doesn't seem to be any link to crafters and the like
Suppose I'd be following in a guildmates footsteps. Old Yak would be so proud

Yak's guide is what got me started as a DE.

hmm, if you mean scrub in the very literal way then im sure you work through hdd very fast... if not then you are eiter overly carefull or have too much time
