Yet! The SWG WIKI site is whatever the authors want to make it, so it would be an ideal place to store the ultimate droid reference manuals. Anyone can be an author and/or editor of reference material in there, so when things change (as they so often do), anyone with the right knowledge can pop in and make adjustments. All that would need to be done was to ask the administrator to add a link for "Crafting" or "Droids" to the main page, from there we can all contribute. In my opinion, WIKIs are the greatest thing the internet has given me and my children (except buying disney mugs and handbags on ebay)

And I just printed out the complete DE 101,

Oh well...Looking foward to the updated one! Starting my alt on DE this weekend...should be interesting, I'm looking forward to playing with my little friends. Got some serious research ahead.....yay! Yes..I'm a geek!

The Wiki does have a DE section, its just not intuitive. Click "Profesions", then scroll down to "Elite Artisan". Its there.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

Ok I just got home, pretty tired from Golfing all day, but I will be starting on this shortly.


I'm going to use the old De 101 and some of the boards own posts as guidelines. I will post what I am building as it is going, so if people want ot help or comment that is fine.


I'm going to split this one up into 2 general sections. Droid users for basic stuff, then a section for the crafters. All the information needed was in the old one, it was just a little hard for casual lookers to find things.

Well, I am just about to start a Component Stock Take. First one in 2 years but got so many components across multiple factory runs that its getting confusing over what I am missing.


So, what I can do is while going through and checking this,document what each module needs resource and quality etc wise and what other modules it needs. Go a bit further into detail than the current 101 information. I'll be doing this for my own benefit anyway so just shout if you would like a copy (heck Ill probably just chuck it up on my website somewhere so you can grab what you need whenever)

I agree we should officially migrate DE 101 to the Wiki... then it can be updated and self-healed as necessary. I'd be glad to contribute what I've learned so far, though there are some things that will take some additional research that I can't necessarily do on my own.

Anyone know if it's possible to post screenshots to the wiki? I'd be glad to edit up some graphics of what each of the effects modules does, for example.
