Thread: NEW CORRESPONDENT NOMINATIONS (*No Voting*)

As sorry as we all are to se TK leave (still wish ya wouldn't go bud), it appears to be inevitable.


So, there is a clear need for a thread for our nominations if we are going to have any say at all when Tiggs makes her decision.


Hence this thread.


PLEASE no voting here. If you know of someone that you believe would be a stellar correspondent, keep our needs and desires in mind, and carry the unsavory weight of being the middle-man between us and SOE... please post them here.


If you yourself want to be the new correspondent don't be afraid to post here. There are lots of good people out there who would fill the spot well, some of whom are even just lurkers.


Note: If you get nominated, and don't want to be a correspondent, there is no real need to post here as such. This is not an official vote, nor is this in any way contractual or obligitory. IF you get offered the position, simply decline. It's that simple.

I would like to Nominate Drashk. He did an excelent job in the past, his job as Correspondent was cut short. I still believe he did most of the work of getting the *new* modules into Thunderheart's hand, despite the largest debate on these boards.


(And who knows, we may actually get a Droid *Handler/Commander* to get these high powered combat droids)

I think the people who want to be correspondants should post here themself, just to avoid confusion etc.


Otherwise i would know who i would nominate too ^^

Thanks MachineZed. I am interested in the position again, but only if the Community is interested in having me around again. I don't feel that I came to fruition the first time around, when I had to leave so abruptly, but its not about what I want - its about the wants/needs of the community.

I second the nomination for Drashk.


Look at his post history and you will see some great, well written proposals and guides.


If he wants it I'd say it would be silly to have anyone else.

If you're up for it, then take this as a seconding (I guess that's what you'd call this). You're probably the best tester we have. I truly mean that.

As an "old-schooler" to the DE boards, I nominate Drashk aka "Drashky-doodle" to the post. We've seen himin action and I think he would make an excellent correspondent yet again.

Ok well I'm going to start out by saying that I think there would be a few people who go above and beyond the normal call of duty, all of them would make excellent correspondance.


Drashk and Malitevv are my two primary candidates. While we may not always agree, I feel they would do a great job.


Drashk, would be an excellent person for the job, but at the same time, he already has contacts. Perhaps if Mal got the job, it would almost be like having 2 Correspondants.

I will second the nomination for Jenden though Drashk also counts as a strong candidate.

I have always liked/supported Drashk, and I think he is a no-brainer candidate. I was sad to see him go the first time, and would love to have him back.


However, I could also stand behind Jenden, as he has also been a great asset to these boards and a tireless worker.



DE's would be in good hands with either candidate, and I will be interested to see who Tiggs picks...
