There's one DE around here who's been around from the very beginning...always been firmly on our "side"...and can inflame the devs more than TK did in his prime.

They also have the distinction of having actually been proposed to by TK in the distant path. (Caused two locked threads and almost got TK banned too....

)

Anyone know who I'm nominating?

Well I've been around these boards from almost day one and I have to say, aside from Sintrosi and TK Drashk is the only other person I would ultimately be happy seing with the position .. but thats primarily because there are a LOT of new faces around and a lot of people I don't really know anymore.

Hell I wouldn't mind having a crack at it myself .... I certainly got enough ideas boiling in my brain. But still, Drashk gets my nomination

So, AO...How about it?

As much as I have almost always agreed with AO I have not seen AO around much lately. My nomination would also have to go first to Drashk, only because he has done the job before, and second to Jenden, as our primary TestCenter DE. (not discounting you on TC, TK and I hope you will continue to give us the awesome previews of coming attractions). I feel that the profession would be in good hands with either of these fine DEs.

Well I am going to apply myself. I know i have only been a DE for about 8 months now and may not be as old school as the others, but I think I could do a good job.

I by no means think that I could do a better job then Jenden, Drashk, or Mal, nowhere near as good as TK, yet I think I could do a good job and would love to give it a shot. It's a big comittment to take up, and that is why I spent a couple of days thinking about it.

You are right, I haven't been posting a ton here lately - been posting more on the beta boards.

I still read the DE forum daily, I just haven't had a lot of time for discussion here of late.

I appriciate the nomination, GnomeAd, very much so. However, I have already thrown my support for Jenden. Even though Jenden and I disagree on several core issues, I see him as the ideal correspondent candidate currently; he has been here for the DE community, consistently, during the tenure of all three previous DE correspondents.

I've posted the reasons why over in Jenden's thread.

I'm lurking your profession this evening and thought I'd take a moment to mention that Jenden would make a really great correspondent. He's calm, intelligent, knows the profession front to back, and has a great head on his shoulders. I have the privilege of playing on Tarquinas with him and know him personally. He's a great asset to our community, the best and most reliable DE we have, and knows what the game needs. So, if anyone's at all interested in what a non-DE, die-hard entertainer thinks, there you have it.
