When looking at possible purchases you seem to have to take the vendors word befor buying something for 80k. I just want a high damage droid since im a tkm ill be doing all the tanking, o what is a good droid right now, and what do I look for?

Anything that has one combat module and one level four armor module.
That's the best damage you'll get. Don't bother spending money on anything more.

Probots have range attack, but seem get an occasional damage bug when the MOB closes in on it. So right now, your best bet is an Astromech or an LE Repair chassis.

A Probot with 2 level 4 armor, 1 combat module, and 4 auto-heal modules.

Auto heal modules stack? What do you accomplish when you stack the modules? Is it the more u put in the more the droid can heal itself? And when i making combat droids is it needed us the adv. probot or will the regular one be just as good? Whats the difference? Thanks..

So you always use the advanced probot chassis with one lvl 4 armor, 1 combat mod and load the rest up with auto repairs? Is that right?

Two level 4 armor modules. Or one level 6 should do it...

I'm not sold on the "max auto-repair" thingy to be honest. I think substituting a item storage unit for an auto-repair is a good tradeoff, and if the customer has med skills, substituting a med module for an auto-repair is a no-brainer.

Well, stacking the auto-heal gets you a little better heal, and it actually is kinda useful if you are sending it after<25 mobs. But I dont see a big problem substituting an item storage. I just never use them anymore, since I got better at organizing and storing things.... and our inventory got increased. I use an LE combat too, actually. I kinda like being able to use it now that it is as strong as a R3 or probot. Those 2 aren't much of a conversationalist, heheh...

Everyone seems to be turning their noses up at probots and Astromechs in favor of the LE droids. I gotta admit, the LE droids look and act cool, but obviously have less modules.
I sell them with combat + medical + storage for medics and combat + auto-repair + storage for non-medics.

You know, I've never liked the LE much as a combat solution, even when it had 6000 HAM. It was slow, uninteresting to look at, and as you say, doesn't have much room for expansion. I actually prefer probots (the only combat droids I stock are probots) for their range attack. I just wish they'd try to keep range after they engage.

What are u guys charging for your CL30 maxed out combat droids? I saw some going for 90k some for 50k and some for 150k. They all were pretty much the same. 1 combat mod. 1 lvl 6 armor mod. and all auto repair mods in 'em. Just curious..Thanks

I don't care what you say, I like my Deathticles!
Lvl 30 DZ70 combat goodness (now with item storage!). I'm sure it'll change if they ever get some bugs worked out though.
