Ijust droppedan R2 ADV w/ 1 Combat Module, 2 Lvl 4 Armor Modules, 2 Auto Repair Modules, and 2 Lvl 4 Item Storage for 50K, a Probot ADV w/ 1 Combat,3 Auto Repair, 2 Lvl 4 Armor, and 1 Lvl 6 Medical for 60k, an LE Repair ADV w/ 1 Combat,2 Auto Repair, and 1 Lvl 4 Armor for 35k, and a D270 ADV w/ 1 Combat, 1 Auto Repair, and 1 Lvl 4 Armor for 30k on my vendor the other night.

Not sure how well those will sell at those prices however, asa couple of peopleappear to be flooding the market with 20-25k R3 ADV on Shadowfire.

Adv probot is the way to go, for the fact is has most modules with a combat bonus droid. Adv R3 has more modules but attacks alot slower. Adv Probot with mas dmg, max armor, and auto heal around 50-60, can tank awsomely for me, up to lvl 30 and the odd lvl 31. Yes, they don't do as much dmg with in 30m BUT the still do dmg and at really fast speeds, so it all equals, out, I've never had my probot EVER not do dmg, just less dmg, but the speed more then makes up for that.

IMO Adv Probot is the way to go.

I currently make Adv Probots, with max dmg, max health, max armor, and 55 healing.

max is 25 I believe and with some newly spawned aluminum, I can make Probots with auto heal of 84.

I did a little test the other day:

Made a Probot with 1 combat module, lvl 3 armour and the rest was auto-repair modules.

Sent him up against a lvl 15 Trade Fed.... got his arse royally kicked. When I made him I also noted that now matter how much I experimented it didn'y have any bearing on his health.

I then sent my Adv R3 droid who has 1 combat module and lvl 3 armour and one auto-repair module up against the same Trade Fed (after he'd healed) and well my R3 totally caned him.

Ive been experimenting with a few different configurations. All R3's with level 6 armour.

Ive messed with a 1 combat, 1 med, 2 auto heal and 2 stim delivery . 1 combat, 2 auto heal and 3 stim delivery. 1 combat and 5 auto repair. So far my limited quantities have been selling off before Ive been able to get some stock on my vendor.

I currently have a BE putting together what he believes will be 200 power stim A, which I believe still work on the old stim delivery formula. Which is a different timer than your personal 60 second timer. But as far as auto repair, I dont know how much of a difference they really make, Id almost rather sub something else, and just keep some repair D's on hand, or if medic, just give em a bacta shot while they hold a level 6 med module.

I didnt realize that Astromechs were HtH only. That kinda sucks with the stim delivery for ranged professions. But I guess my configurations might help with the non combatants. As long as you let your droid outdamage you he will hold aggro.

As far as price, I've seen what would be the same combat capable droid at very differing prices on different vendors. I had one of my own city mates, buy my combat droids off my vendor, mark em up about 40% and sell him on his vendor just because he was closer to the shuttle.

I've never had a problem with my Adv Probot killing lvl 30ish mobs even some 32's...

Are you gruoping with your droid, he shouldn't be getting killed by lvl 15's.

If your grouping it will lower your droids CL.
