Thread: STRIKE!
Okay, I know there is no way this could actually be pulled off. But I'd be willing to do it if it could be done. A set day where no Merchant sells anything to anyone on Chilastra. Pull all sales from Bazaars, remove all sales from your vendors, sell to no one. Even if it were 50% of merchants it would be great.
Just a pipe dream. I know. But it'll end up happening on it's own the way they are going.
Even if you get alot of people to do it. there are still many many players on Chilastria that dont read the merchant forum.
And we'll be only hurting an economy that is already pretty bad as it is (tatooine i know of)
I realize that, of course it would ahve to be spread through out the galaxy. Searching out every vendor near and wide and telling them GIVE THEM HELL PLEASE DONT SELL! heheh
It will never work, of course. Nothing ever works in this game. 
Wouldn't work..
1) Only a small fraction of players read these boards.
2) Some DEs would ignore the strike.
3) Some would continue to sell droids at an even bigger markup.

Apparently it will be months before we really get the attention we deserve. We all post our protests and suggestions, there have been some very nice threads on SWG Discussion lately involving droids. But even though the messages end up being several pages long, the next day they are burried and forgotten.
There have been countless, lucid, well-thought out ideas and suggestions from many of us, but our voice is still not being heard.
With player cities and creature mounts being on the forefront, it will be a long time before we receive the love we deserve. As far as a STRIKE goes, I have taken the ultimate step. As of last night, I have taken a very drastic step. I have dropped Master DE and am currently focusing on a new profession. I have already dropped 4 boxes and will continue dropping as I work up my new skills.

btw my character name is ChimChim Master DE Lowca. And as far as im concerned if just 1 BH adds to the complaints the strike is working.

I refuse to sell any more droids or make any more until we are atleast competative with CH ffs
Dude i havnt made a droid in about a month. I refuse to until something cool comes out. Unless i want to make mindless surgical/med6/foodchemcraft, over and over. Fck that...
Even when new droids do come out I dont know how many i will make. I think ill just clean out my resource inventory, make as many as i can then have enough money. Then drop the profession. I dont want to build ships if we even get that stuff. Crafting fcking scks.

Devs aren't really listening to the cries of the bh'es either. It takes forever to get up the investigation tree and around 80% of the bounty hunter missions you do end up bugged, in the end. Either the mark ends up being white (unattackable) or doesn't show up at all. So bh'es are already complaining. Alot.
