Thread: FIRST MANDO HELM CRAFTED ON SHADOWFIRE FORGE BROKEN!
The first ever mandalorian helm crafted on live server *SHADOWFIRE* came to a devestating end, when after giving all 4 components ( Binary Liquid, Protective Coating, Alum Mineral, and the Bounty-Hunter helm ) .. the forge is broken 
This is exactly what happened step by step... CSRs pay attention, developers, all people on all servers..

Logic was our droid engineer who was going to craft the item. Just trying to open the door took forever, but it finally told us that it was being unlocked. We were going up the first ramp when... This is where it gets weird.
Logic dies .. from what we don't know, but we never started crafted so malynda rez'd him. On our end everything looked fine, but he wasn't moving. On logic's end he didn't rez, he went into a loading screen as if he cloned. When he stopped loading he was in the forge room. From our point of view he never moved an inch, just kept standing there.
At this point, none of us were ejected, and we wanted that helm made. We still had at least 3 minutes left. So Logic ran up to the forge.. inserted the 4 items and he got this series of messages:

All items have been accepted and the manufacturing process is about to begin...
The terminal is displaying numbers and images. It is not ready for input at this time
(Keep a note, we had just put in all 4 items)
Check the terminal to continue the manufacturing process. If the process does not continue within the next thirty(30) seconds it will be shut down.
At this point logic has spammed the use button like 10 times.. then he gets this message:
The manufacturing process halted due to slow input from the end user.
(Keep a note, all items are already input into the machine, and it has already told us all items have been accepted and it was beginning.... )

In conclusion, the mandalorian forge is indeed broken, and we have proved that tonight.. June 13th - 14th from 9pm - 2am... and beyond.. this is me standing there... at the forge and hour later after i should have been ejected long ago..

To CSRs/Developers: We feel we deserve at least the item crafted, we had spent weeks preparing for this adventure to only get robbed of this historical event. It is not fair to us or to anyone on any other server for this to happen to them. Please do not give us the excuse, we are sorry for your inconvience. That is an old excuse.
Please contact Gair, Unicron, Machaca or Logic on Shadowfire for more information reguarding this incident. We have logs and screenshots to prove this happened. Not only those, but a group full of witnesses who will testify with their own screenshots and logs to validate this claim.
*Administrators do NOT delete this post, because you don't want people knowing of this bug like you did my other DWB post that showed the mine bugs. If it is deleted for any reason, you better believe i will repost it until i am banned form SWG*

It sounds to me like the Forge may not have 'seen' the "Use" command (after the process started) due to Logic's death and rez. But that's just a guess.
I'll let you know more if I hear back on this...
Note: I'm sorry you ran into this strangeness...I know how much frustration it must have caused.

Actually, it technically states that the items had already been accepted. Why it was asking for input items, when there was none left required for crafting i don't know. It should prompted us a popup if we wanted to start the process, not keep requiring items that were already input. Also, we never got ejected. I stood in the forge for over 5 hours and it never booted me until server restart. When logic died, i feel maybe that definately had something to do with it. Either way, if we had failed the mission, it should have booted us. Since none of us were booted; we felt is was safe to continue.
I appreciate your reply, i am very glad someone is at least looking into this matter. Very much appreciated.

This is where the armor 'magic' happens...If you're making armor, get thyself up to the top level as soon as possible. Bear in mind, your group CAN follow you into the DE Crafting room...but there are baddies around while you're trying to craft. So, make sure they are ready to keep them off you while you focus.
There is another Crafting droid here next to another Mandalorian Forge. If you attempt to select/use the Mandalorian Forge, you will see the following message:
"The Terminal is displaying numbers and images. It is not ready for input at this time."
If you see this...it means you're not doing it right.
You will need to start by dragging and dropping parts from your main inventory right on top of the Crafting droid.
I dropped my BH Helmet on the Crafting droid (top level)...
Note: Make sure to check the chat/UI for the line... "The following items are still needed...".
I do not know if the order that you drop items is important, but I used:
- BH armor helmet
- Alum Minerals
- Binary Liquid
- Protective Liquid Coating
When I dragged/dropped the looted component items on to the Crafting Droid, I got the following:
All items dropped on...waiting for process to begin
Then...I needed to actually use the Mandalorian Forge. When I did, I got...
The Alum hardening process (begins)...
"The Alum hardening process is about to begin. Would you like to continue?" (Note: you cannot choose "No" here.)
Once this process completes (it happens pretty fast), you'll be prompted to use the Mandalorian Forge again. This time, you'll be starting the "Aeration" process:
The Alum hardening process finished, then Aeration needed to be done...
This also only takes a few moments, but....................when you're done.......
Success!! Success!! Success!!

Thoughts, comments and opinions:Whew! That is a wild ride, folks...
I have to say that I've not yet had a more enjoyable raid/combat experience in these here Galaxies!
The spawns are tough...the map is large...the parts are hard to find...and the experience will very likely make your heart pound quite a bit harder (especially waiting to see if you crit fail on the build).
...I'll edit/add to this guide as needed. But I wanted to get you all some info and screenies right away.
Note: Because I like you all to have fun...there are things I've left out of the guide on purpose.

well as you can see on your post on the first mando helm that was made, you mention the process and messeges that the forge told you ass you where crafting the helm. Well i never got those messeges you here post exacly what it told you and i never got those messeges on my screen, we have the proof on the pictures gair posted. I do believe that if your not willing to give us the mando helm at least you should return al the items used to make the helm cause is not fair that he spent a lot of time planing, and colleting all the pieces for a quest that is not working.

I am asking for a reference, of who is capable of doing this. TheReal can't do anything about it, but he should be upset something that his profession specifically calls for is broken.
