They see Pearls as an issue, but they don't see it being fixed any time soon? It's one of the most demanded issues in the game right now! But they go way out of their way to do some stupid crap with resources as loot, recalculating and making it so you loot it in more than 1. If they can do that, then WHY DON'T THEY JUST PUT PEARLS BACK IN?! No mathematical stuff, just STICK IT BACK IN!
Honestly, I haven't blown up on them like this in a while, but this is just unbelievable. Nobody gives two sh!ts about looting 1 resource.
The only reason I can possibly think of is that they like making us wait. Honestly. Can't think of anything else.
Just stick Pearls back in.

They'd have to stick level 300+ mobs back in to do this. Mobs that apparently people complained about being in game and were removed. That is, unless they edit the loot system to make premium/flawless pearls not ranked so high in the loot tables so that level 90ish krayts will drop them.

Just let the enclave sentinels drop them, level 500. I cant touch them with my jedi, but I can solo them easily on my main. Glad we got the CU to balance everything.

Yeah cuz everyone cantake them. The devswant an easy, mindless solution, that takes 0 effort, 0thought, and 0 ability;well there you go.

Though I want pearls back just as the Jedi right next to me, I wouldent say its one of the most demanded issue

you wouldnt? its certainly the most unbalancing i would say that its such an inbalancing factor that it really should be on the top of the list where all bugs associated with combat profs are concerned

Ok I have just spent 6 HOURS on Tempest looking for a droid with datapad storage on it so I can put manufacturing schematics in it.
There are very very few DEs on my server so I could not find one on to talk to.
So, I finaly find one to talk to and he/she tells me that you CANNOT put datapads into droids, he/she hasnt been a DE a very long time and really didnt know what I was talking about.
After some discussion we have found that (maybe as this DE put it) you USED to be able to but not anymore for sure.
Well I used to be a DE a long time ago and I KNOW that you used to be able to for sure!
Why in all hell would SOE take out a function like this? Is there a way and im just totaly lost? Would not supprise me.
Please help me!

You want a droid with a data module. At least I think that's want you need. Anyone here back me up or have I lost it?

That is exactly what I want, so does it stille exist and the DE I just talked to is a NUB or is it kaput?

It sounds like your freshman DE is a bit confused. I think they may be making Astromech based droids which would not show the data storage module as data storage but instead as an Astromech Level. If they started DE after JtL sounds like this could be the case. Get them to make an MSE droid with a data module (level 6 for 10 items) and they should see that it still exists just is called something different in an R unit.
Of course I haven't tested the use of it since JtL came out so cannot confirm that it is working now as it used to.

I will admit that I have not crafted and tamed a droid with a data module in it for a long time, but I cant imagine that it does not still work. Gimmie a /tell Esawet. I will be on for a few tonight. Or to test yourself, head to the gray tent in Sin CIty by the shuttle... I should have some low level Pilot droids. THey each have a data module in them.
