Thread: What goes good with DE?
Well having MDE and MArt wouldn't leave you much points left to master a new one if you were thinking of Mastering Merchant.
My Droid Engineer has ....
- Master Droid Engineer
- Master Artisan
- Master Merchant
- Architect 0443
... and is down to 0 or 1 point left.
Useful skills would be ...
- Novice Armorsmith for the Battle Armor packs used to make the Droids Armor Modules
- Architect for the Crafting Stations to utilise the Droid Storage Units you can make and make the factories and houses you are gonna need to store all the components you are gonna end up with while you work
- For a sales boost suggestion either of the above portions (Armor, Housing) and Weaponsmith so you can make the other stuff in the game that has a better chance of selling well.
Other than that I guess the choice is yours ..

hehe, it can be .. my DE has almost 15mil now .. all from droids over the last couple of years .. most of the sales coming from astromechs and bounty hunter droids .. with a scattering of other droids but not been selling them since they messed up droids in Publish 18.
If there is a low count of DEs on your planet/server you should be able to make good money just making BH and Space droids.
Hot dang, that's my template too. Well, I have 4.1.0.4 architect so I can make houses for the city and furnish them too. And I have novice entertainer to give me something to do when i get tired of staring at the crafting station.

I have been a DE for more then a year now, and I have made over 150 million credits. Only now with these bugs, i am going to dabble in Architect.

Another skill combo to consider is a Deathwatch Bunker template:
Master Artisan
Master Droid Engineer
Master Rifleman
This gives you a CL of 54, approximately 2200 health, the ability to wear reconaissance armor, weild and use specials for a rifle, and still be a functional Droid Engineer. I chose Creature Handler because as a wookiee, I can already weild an assault bowcaster and it allows me to wear heavier armor. That and I like pets.
