I just saw this on the fix notes

Added new schematic for droid customization kit

I cant believe it. I cant wait to test this thing.

Ifrin the former mon cal rifleman now most fishy jedi on the server

Most likely it's broken... it was on the test server so why shouldn't it be now when it goes live?

It's not like they haven't done this before.

BTW, did ANYONE notice in the patch notes:

"Fixed Master Droid Engineers not being able to Customize Droids".

No, neither did I. I only hope it's implied, 'cause what's the point if we still get "You do not have the skill to Customize Droid"

No i am not Master Artisan but i got sockpiles of that stuff. And i know enough Master Artisan who make me scematics. That got me 32 points back.

I guess all I can say is "WHY?"

WHY does SOE not care about DEs?

WHY does SOE create NEW items that DONT work from the beginning?

WHY is SOE so incompetent?

WHY did we all choose DE?

WHY do the patch notes for DE suck? 1/3 broken, 2/3 not useful

In closing I would just like to say...SCREW YOU SOE. AND FOR THE DEVELOPERS, YOU WANT YOUR RAISE FOR ALL YOUR HARDWORK? TAKE YOUR PAYCHECK STUB, ROLL IT UP, AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR A$$.

Well, I just go into game to test it. Takes an MA control unit (no problem there, just a small annoyance) and a droid stoage unit. With goo materials and great rolls on experimentation I got it up to 6 charges (stupid lack of experimentation points).

Went to customize my R3 droid. Do I want to customize the body or the trim? Trim. Make it blue. Once charge down. OK. Customize my droid again. Do I want body or trim? Body. Make it white. Ok. Looks all right. Now I'll store it and recall it. It's the old colors again.

Does the droid customization kit require master artisan components? Could someone post what's needed for this schematic if they know please?

*sigh* I wish that while them adding in us needing a component from another profession (that some of us have, and some not), they would add in a couple things to other classes that need components from us. And maybe have a profession or two, like the BH's that need a specific droid to do a job. Like for smugglers to slice a HQ, or for a BE to dna sample from a creature lvl 50 or over, just something like that. Sorry, I know this isn't the proper thread for that, I'll stop now.
