For those that haven't seen the two previous posts that I have made about therevamped DL10 Probot, let me show you the average stats with Medium 40% Armor.....

HAM 820
Speed2.42
To Hit 0.22
Damage70 - 80 (71 - 86)

Armor Medium
Resists40%

The Attack Speed has gone up, along with the damage. The Probots currently on Live have been the result of a Listing Bug, since the Probot was Nerfed. The Post-Nerf Probots have been DL10 all along and not the DL16 that they listed as.

Now to compare it agaisnt a CL10 non-CH Spike Krevol, the replacement to the Rock Beetle....

HAM 900
Speed2.0
To Hit 0.28
Damage90 - 100

Armor none
Resists none

It may have better numbers across the board, but like all non-CH pets, it has no armor or resists. The non-CH pets drop rather quickly in battle, when compared to a Probot with full armor. Keeping a pet up in battle is about to get a lot more expensive....

I think this is good. People keep complaining about the speed going up , but if you actually check the probots on the live server they aren't firing at the rate the droid says it is. I think on both test and live they are actually firing about once every 4 seconds, despite the speed variation listed.

How do you interpret the "To Hit" statistic? Bigger number better or worse?

This is a combat log that I took from my Live server Probot verses a few different opponents. I editted out the mob damage, in interests of reducing the character count..

I'll let everyone compare notes and I will even post more TC Probot combat logs on request; however, I think that this oneillistrates the differences pretty well

That would be a Pre-Nerf Probot that is about to get hit my the nerf bat once again. I seriously doubt that anyone will be able to use any of the Pre-Nerf Probots after the vehicle patch hits. KKCS, sorry to say, but you have been out of the loop for quite some time if you didn't know about the Probot Nerf andnow you will more than likelylose yourProbot

ROFL! I don't think I do enough combat, I never noticed that silly grammar:

22:29:55 a Probot hits a lesser desert womp rat, but him counterattacks!

Question for you Drashk, have you seen any of the new BE'd CL10 pets? I haven't had a chance to get on TC myself but I've heard that BE's can make some rather buff non-CH pets still. Combine that with the fact that they can be healed and we may still be the less preferred choice in the combat market.

I have yet to see a CL10 pet that was created by a BE. All of the Bio-Engineered pets that I have seen have been CL13 or higher. Honestly, I am very happy for the BE profession, since they have finally gotten a bit of lovin in this publish. Their new system seems to be working out fairly well, but there are still a number of items that will be fixed, before the system is working as intended.

The CL13 and higher Engineeredpets that I have seen are dependent on the DNA sample that was used in the creation process. I've seen some pretty interesting combontation made using a Bunny/Kimo cross breed. It may look like a 'harmless' bunny, but its one with a bit of a bite. They make me think of the link that someone posted in a pervious thread.

The BioEngineered pets can have varied resists as well as special attacks and damage. I'm not 100% sure, but I beleive that these pets are only usable by CHs and are not considered CL10 pets, but I could be wrong.

The changes to BE are very promising for our profession, just because of that has been done to them. If I'm mistaken, BE was the original profession that was promised to get some DEV loving, with DE being a close second. Now that BE is becoming a viable profession, DE will soon be getting some of that ol' fashion good DEV lovin as well, in my opinion.
