Actually my hope went back up some, not all the way but some. It will depend on the Dev as to weather I support or attack the Dev's proposed changes.

They may actually be using alot of the suggestions posted on this board, for what is coming up. If it is More combat droids, that only DEs can use that was one of the things many people posted that they wanted. ALOT of people did not like the idea of a Droid Handler that was a seperate class to use the droids. So they took what they saw here and plan to implement it.

You may have misunderstood my point.

Sintrosi stated in an earlier post that she was not privy to "the plan" (until like just a few moments ago and just prior to their announcement).

It is THAT that I find disgusting, insulting and an outright failure of the so-called "correspondent" system.

I'm perfectly happy that we're going to get changes and be "more powerful soon".


However, keeping our correpsondent in the dark about it right up until almost the last minute before they announce?



I'd use "sad" to describe that...but I don't think it adequately describes my feelings.

Hehe I'm glad you get to see what they are working on Sin =) While you are talking to them, mind asking them *when* they plan on making these changes? It's nice to know that they are looking at us for some revamping but other classes have heard this too and still nothing changed on them. Be nice to know that this is more than just a bone to keep us playing and waiting for the changes to hit.

You're doing a good job though! Stay on 'em and I'll be pouncing back and forth looking for Thunderheart's proposed post that he's said he'd do today =)

Miednight: TH already stated ( http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Development&message.id=744036#M744036 ) that Sintrosi will post it, when it's done (most obviously in the Droid Engineer forum). So stop refreshing the Devtracker =P

Thunderheart recently posted eslewhere that the DE Post would come from Sintrosi, and that it would be here in the DE Forum, no need to bounce back and forth... just wait about an hour and press refresh

Disgusting, insulting and a failure? We provide Sin input She provides input. They provide what they are going to change, based on her input. Now they are showing us the proposed changes (on their lengthy time frame).

Where is this disgusting, insulting failure?Parley about their changes willhappen once we see their ideas.

Uhhh....readmy post again, man.

I'm not calling them to the carpet for the changes, per se.

What is bothersome is that it seem our Correspondent was left out of the loop completely, with regard to building the plan itself. It is THAT issue to which I speak when I say that I find their lack of communication to our correspondent (and every other, it seems) is insulting.

For example: Did they discuss each item of the plan they putting forth with Sintrosi in advance?

She states that's not the case (until the day they are ready to release it).

As somebody else kind of stated, if they tell us their plan and then we hear nothing for another 5 months, they might as well not even throw us this bone. I too would like to know what time table the DEV's are looking at because history shows a HUGE lack of communication, with not much delivered for us DE's.

Would look at the bright side, but look back thru the history of our forum and find it for me.
